Jan 14 2010Consollection: Website Of Every Console Ever Produced (Allegedly -- I Never Fact-Check)

Consollection is a website that features every video game console every produced along with a bio of each. It's a great reference in case you get in a drunken argument with a friend over what year the Atari Jaguar was released. And you know what else makes a great reference during a drunken argument? A beer bottle to the face. Suck it Wikipedia, you'll never have shit on this Bud Lightsaber!

sega game gear with tv tuner
12. EvilJonny - January 14, 2010 2:56 PM
No Amstrad GX4000. Im probably one of the few unfortunate people to actually own that console (which was only manufactured for a few months) which is the only reason I have any idea about it.
13. OJ's Mom - January 14, 2010 2:58 PM
I totally LOVED my IntelliVision console. It was the shit. Maybe I'll search for one on Eee-Bay today. Crunkity!

I will gladly take your email address from the end though and use it to sign up for bestiality porn mailing lists and whatnot.
Thanks for spamming!

16. Dru - January 14, 2010 3:25 PM
@10 - Agreed. I didn't see a DS Lite or a DSi.
But there are some of the original gameboy gens so...I have no idea.
Really cool and very comprehensive list, though.
17. Kraig - January 14, 2010 3:25 PM
No TI 99/4 on the list, so the list fails.
18. Richard McBeef - January 14, 2010 3:27 PM
@15 - Oh no, I liked it. Great work!
I keep submitting the email address to bestiality porn mailing lists, but it keeps coming back saying the address is already registered :-(

Wow! I forgot about half of these! I didn't realize Sega Genesis was called Mega Drive. Was that the European name? (I'd assume so)

25. Sham - January 14, 2010 4:24 PM
how could they forget TurboGrafx-16
26. Brian - January 14, 2010 4:26 PM
Nearly all of the Turbo/PC Engine stuff is missing, except the Super CD-Rom2 attachment? That's like listing the 32x but not the Genesis. Also missing is the PSP Go. It's still a neat list though. I wouldn't have thought to include any of the R-Zone items.
Wait a second.... no Tiger toys?
27. DanyLektro - January 14, 2010 4:28 PM
Some of the things he included were really weird. The list is incomplete obviously. A nice example is.
The PS2 is included.
The PS2 Silver edition was ALSO included, despite it just being a special release and having no hardware revisions whatsoever.
The PS2 slim was ignored.. what?
None of the DS revisions were included and the TurboGrafx 16 wasn't there..
Weird.
Sounds more like it's this guy's collection rather than a list of EVERYTHING.

Didn't the Sega Master System come before the 1st Gen. 8-bit NES? Or is my memory not serving me correctly?

31. tinman - January 14, 2010 4:45 PM
No mention of the Odyssey 2 from magnivox... that console ROCKED i had it for year and there was a ton of games..... well it's not like you can have EVERY console in your collection.
32. Boris - January 14, 2010 5:12 PM
No TI-99/4 or TI-99/4A. ::tear::
33. Bennyhenry - January 14, 2010 5:33 PM
DSi? PSP Go? PS3 Slim?
This site is a bit crap tbh.
34. pbuddha - January 14, 2010 5:34 PM
@boris -- I was about to say the same thing!!! I still have mine with speech modulator and all -- now if I could just figure out how the hell to actually hook it up to a modern tv!
35. Chris - January 14, 2010 5:37 PM
Just to add to the omissions here: no PSX? Or 64DD?
36. Durand - January 14, 2010 6:59 PM
They don't have the Panasonic Gamecube Q but they included a Pikachu N64 and a Clear version of the original X-Box? Clearly, with my errors and all the others that you Geekologists have noticed, this site needs some major revision.
37. jamie - January 14, 2010 9:25 PM
its missing psp go at least
38. lee.harless - January 14, 2010 10:54 PM

This is a joke. They should go choke on it.
43. Johan - January 15, 2010 12:27 AM

50. Durand - January 15, 2010 8:32 AM
@40: It does have both the Genesis 1 and 2, but lists it as its international names: The Megadrive (and Megadrive 2)
and @ 42:
They didn't miss the SNES at all, the picture is just that of the European version.
If you'll notice the domain is out of Germany, then you'll know why he did it like this.
51. Richard - January 15, 2010 9:27 AM
no C64 games console either.
they're rare but it does excist! i had one before i bought my master system 2.
52. LoCrux - January 15, 2010 10:11 AM

53. Ken Goldstein Esq. - January 15, 2010 10:19 AM
"A beer bottle to the face" promoting violence? Clearly a website for well grounded individuals. This site will be shut down. I will see to it personally.
54. LAW - January 15, 2010 12:47 PM
This is also missing the Panasonic Q. It lists it as a Gamecube with a dvd player in the same page as the Gamecube. Stupid. It wasnt just a color revision like the Crystal Xbox listed, or the Pokemon64....it was an entirely different system really. Dvd Player, Gamecube, Media player, Built in Lan Adaptor......PANASONIC Q! not Gamecube by Panasonic
55. Jeremy - January 15, 2010 1:07 PM
Yeah, if this list doesn't include Turbo Grafx 16, it is a waste. That system was highly underrated. The only system where you can take the same game cartridge from the system and play it on the portable. Awesome.
And what is with the SNES on there? It looks weird.
56. Fjord Prefect - January 15, 2010 1:51 PM
All those systems and not one Apple II. Sad.
57. nick - January 15, 2010 2:54 PM
TurboGrafx16 is actually called the PC Engine BTW. And it is in there...
58. omgizz - January 15, 2010 10:12 PM
What about the "socrates" it was this crazy educational console. But definitely a console none the less, it had a bunch of puzzle games with words and shit. and a keyboard... it was hot, i had one before i had an NES.
59. Phil - January 16, 2010 11:49 AM
Hey Guys,
I am the owner of that collection. Just want to say thanks for your comments, and clear some things up:
The site was never intended to list ALL consoles ever made. It is just a personal collection which was portrayed, with no intend to be complete (which is sadfully almost impossible).
Regarding a few remarks:
- the Amstrad GX 4000 is there
- the Sega Genesis I, II and III are there
- the TI/99 and other homecomputers mentioned are not included, simply because they are not videogame systems. I own a few of these, but they were not in the focus of this work, and they are not in the focus of my collection.
However, thanks for your interest.
Best Regards from Germany
Phil

Where is the Apple Pippen???
61. bilbo - January 17, 2010 2:56 AM
No Turbo Graphics 16!!!
62. Phil - January 17, 2010 6:30 AM
Hi again,
the Apple Pippin is there. Actually, it was not manufactured by Apple, but by Bandai. See row 11 to find it.
The NEC Turbo Grafx is the US name & design for the original PC Engine. You can find this console, including the CD-Rom attachement, on the page as well.

Phil

I still have my Amiga CD32 and I funking love it! ZOOL: Ninja Ant in the 9th Dimension, RoboCod: James Pond, Whales Voyage, D-Generation, Trolls, a game based on the toyline, and Deep Core, was a side scrolling deep space marine shooter. Classic!!!
I can't believe there were so many earlier console machines, it's crazy.
64. captaindash - January 28, 2010 10:19 AM
Where's the Bentley Compu-Vision, motherfuckas!
