Jan 4 2010Amazing: Hot Water Under A Fake Floor Prank
There are two kinds of pranks in the world: mediocre ones, and the ones that they come up with in Japan. This particular video showcases the Japanese variety. Basically there's a fake foam floor and when you walk on it you fall into a pool of hot water. Water that's hot enough (hot water burn baby!) to warrant hugging a tub of ice afterward. Haha, hurting people is one of the best pranks! (2nd only to making somebody think they're gonna die, then yelling, "HAHA -- GOTCHA!", and then stabbing them. ROFLROFL!)

I was reading your review about the new Mario on the Wii, on your page, and you should know its not a good game to play with girls who don't take games seriously. Playing mulit player mode with my wife and her friend turned out to be quite stressful....... just sayin

The little guy's name is Okamura, and he is freaking hilarious (and very talented too). One of the better comedians in Japan for sure. I love how they were timing him each time to see if he could better his score. As for the hot water, I doubt it was THAT hot, and yes the Japanese are very much into the "surprise humiliation and pain" side of comedy - bless every last one of the crazy bastidges...

I laughed so hard my eyes teared up. I don't know Japanese but maybe the object of the prank/game was to see how fast they got out of the hole, and if the water was room temp, they may have stayed there saying "WTF?" which isn't as funny as the almighty scramble to get out of it. Quite cruel but very funny. Anyone does that to me and I will give them a world of hurt.

So are they never carrying around cell-phones, or what? Also what is in the tub that most of them jump on after they get out of the water, is it ice? It's more like torture than a practical joke if the water is really hot enough for them to need to hug a bucket of ice.
