Dec 1 2009It's So Precious!: Spy Photo Of Mystery Plane

This unknown US mystery plane was recently photographed on an airbase in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and just look at how cute it is! It's like a little baby plane. No word on if its an unmanned aircraft or if there's an actual cockpit, but either way it is a cutie-pie! I mean, sure it's a war machine, but that doesn't mean I can't invite it over for a slumber party, does it? Come on, we'll order pizza and watch scary war movies! I call little spoon (I've burnt my crotch on jet-thrusters before)!

Cockblock

Doesn't look very useful. Too small to carry people or munitions, too big to be a camera plane.
Give it a brain!

Boeing’s X-45C platform, based on the X-46.
4500lbs payload.

It looks like a mini version (perhaps a single pilot version) of the B2 Stealth Fighter Bomber without the traditional black anti-radar paint.

An unmanned, mini B2 that only needs to drop one solitary bunker buster - or nuke. About time.

IT WAS MADE BY INSECTS!

too big to be a camera plane? have you seen the predator up close? its a monster. stealth spy camera planes are even bigger.
19. cabbo - December 1, 2009 6:23 PM
@18 okay, sorry. I'm not an expert on stealth planes, and I shouldn't have commented. I retract it.
Wait, have YOU seen the predator up-close?

The x-47 is shown on Future Weapons S03E09, but all the UAV from that family, including x-45 and x-46, are pretty big.
Judging from the wheel to plane body size ratio, this is a smaller plane. But might still be stealth (but exhaust doesn't match the stealth design theory), and probably has a payload bay.
@1 LOL, keep up the great work Dan.

its a stealth UAV has internal payload... look it up
23. Watcher - December 1, 2009 10:00 PM
um it's called a UCAV: Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle. Not as advanced as Eddie from 'Stealth' but you get the idea. Hardly a mystery, if you ever watched Future Weapons you would've seen an episode where they showed off stuff like this. Hardly new or secret.

@19 There's a predator on static display at my base. You can walk up and check it out.

THAT PILOT IS A SPY!!!!!! sorry, ive been playing a lot of tf2 lately.

I think its unmanned. I don't see enough space for life support systems. and it looks like there is a bulge under the front that could be a mounted camera unit.
Either way bad ass. Another flying wing is kinda cool.
