R2-D2, best known for having to put up with that whiny gold asshole all the time, is actually a pretty handy little droid to have around. He can pick locks, shock people, and even launch a lightsaber to you when you're about to be fed to a Sarlacc. Plus the guy knows how to party (suck it, Bender!).
This hand-painted 1:6 scale representation of R2-D2 comes with 8 accessories, including a periscope scanner, mechanical gripper, and utility saw. As you can see you can stick them on Artoo's head or on his chest. You can pre-order the limited edition R2-D2 statue at the Star Wars Shop for $149 (USD). Unfortunately Artoo won't make it in time for Christmas; orders won't be shipped until June next year.
I kind of want one. Is that wrong? Because if it is I don't wanna be right. Wait, yes I do. I always want to be right. TOO BAD I'M LEFT. Oh -- oh -- incoming novelty t-shirt idea!: "Southpaws don't have to do it right". I'd buy one (read: you'd send me one for free). Somebody, run with it! *CRASH* Aaaaaand you should have looked both ways.

1/6 is a scale, as in it is one sixth the size of the original R2D2
(i.e. if the real R2D2 was only 6' tall, then this model would only be 1' tall)

I could easily picture R2D2 to be around the 3ft level, making the model 6inches, right? @3 wasn't too far off, either way.

I figured he is closer to 3' tall, but if I said 1/6 scale of 3' is 6", i thougth some people would be confused because of the fact that i mentioned feet and inches..... its hard enough to explain math concepts to some of the retards i work with, so i didn't even want to attempt to do it here..... just sayin
#3 was way off on his interpritation of what 1/6 means.... he just happened to misinterperate it as 6" which seems similar, but they're not. One is a fraction (scale) and the other is a length

Why don't i make any sense? I mean, on a daily basis i bitch about how much i hate robots, but for some reason i like R2D2. I was even talking shit about two robots while at the same time saying how much i love this one. It seems like I just make stuff up to get people to like me, huh? Or maybe R2D2 is an exception because one of those "tools" is a dildo he pleasures me with.

and the symbol @all for a scale is a colon (:) so 1:6 scale would actually be the correct way and since in USA 1 foot equals 12 inches, and assuming R2 is 3ft (which he isn't) 3x12=36 inches, and you split 36 into 6 equal sized parts in inches, the 6 in "1:6", would mean one of those parts would be only 6 inches, therefore I'm left-handed and actually know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide and R2 would be six inches tall (which he isn't.)
