Nov 30 2009What If: Famous Superheroes Had Beards?
Vanja Mrgan is a Croatian illustrator with a dream, a dream of imagining what normally beardless superheroes would look like with some manly facial hair. Although they aren't actually all superheroes, some are jerks like Boba Fett. Now I know what you're thinking, "damn, I wonder what the GW would look like with a beard?" And the answer to that, my friends, is magical. Ever seen a unicorn being born? They fly out of my face.

Maybe if they were all supposed to look like vikings or something? Could have done better. What about Wonderwoman with a goatee. Or even Storm from Xmen with a big santa style beard and ear hair. Better still, Catwoman with a handlebar moustache and mutton chop sideburns.......

Beards FTW. Though I have to say that Batman, and especially Boba Fett, dont look as good with beards. Perhaps it's just the style portrayed. RoboCop looks like he should be carring a battle axe on his back. Still cool though. Hellboy is by far the best looking of the 4 in my opinion. He looks like a grizzled old 1840's railroad worker.
@ #21, Beards dont make guys look gay, mustaches do. And then only when worn without a beard. Heck, beards are so "ungay" that thats what gay men call the wives they have in order to help them appear NOT gay. The way I see it, there are 3 types of people in this world,
1. Women.
2. Men who can grow awesome, manly beards.
3. Jealous men who WISH they could grow awesome, manly beards.
I'm betting you fall into the 3rd catagory.

48. Superman is incapable of growing a beard. Unless of course he is on Krypton. Which in itself would be impossible, for if he tried to fly there as entering the Krypton atmosphere would make him mortal again, and he would burn up.
The resulting scar tissue of suck burn, if of course he survived, would render him unable to produce any kind of bodily hair.
So ask yourself again mister number 48, is this a logical request?
Catwoman is, she could have hormone replacement therapy.
