Nov 10 2009Verizon's AT&T Bashing Holiday Commericals
This is one in a series of holiday Verizon ads bashing AT&T's 3G coverage. I thought they were tacky, particularly since it's not even Thanksgiving yet. ONE HOLIDAY AT A TIME, FOLKS, GEEZ. Where were the Pilgrim and Indian themed ads? Oh, right -- you ran them in July. I only jest, Verizon, and in the spirit of giving thanks let's smoke this peace pipe together. Oh yeah, that's the stuff. Now pass the cornucopia -- I think I saw some chips.
Hit the jump for two more.

Thanks to Myself, who....I get it -- very clever!

how about the fact that at&t pays verizon for usage of 3g access.... verizon doesn't mention that in the ad.... OOPS.

Those commercials sucked! I'd buy an AT&T just to spite it.

@2 I've had AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, and Verizon has had the best coverage of any of them, HANDS DOWN!

I'm an iphone user/addict and it's absolutely true, AT&T's coverage is a f*cking joke.

I agree with the GW. Whatever happened to thanksgiving? Or are people considering it a boring holiday since you don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on presents, making Thanksgiving an unmarketable holiday?

I use ATT and have never had a problem broswing the web or anything else. Probably cause I never go outside Atlanta really but still....Verizon can suck my nut.

They are trying so hard to redeem themselves now that the Droid was a failure. Poor Verizon and their second-best-smartphone. :(

You think that's bad? Kohl's has had their holiday stuff up since mid-September!

@11
I was going to post that, plus,
Verizon doesn't show that 0% of country have simultaneous voice and data access under verizon.

Oh thats nothing a shop over here had Christmas appearing just over 100 days before "the event"
17. Harold^Sick - November 10, 2009 2:58 PM
Thing is, both AT&T and Verizon suck miserably. Get with T-Mob and keep it "in the family." Fughettaboutit.

I read that Apple is designing an 'Iphone Hybrid' for Verizon 2010. So if that means Verizon breaks that AT&T exclusivity, its funny they are clearing bashing it (not only AT&T)
Oh well..

I've never had a problem with At&t or the iPhone. In fact I keep 3G turned off on my phone to save battery and it still browses the net pretty quickly.
20. iMsold - November 10, 2009 3:39 PM
@19 Contradict yourself much? If you need to keep your 3G turned off to save battery, that IS a problem! How brainwashed are Apple consumers? Never have battery issues with my HTC G1, running 3G plus simultaneous widgets on my desktop. Oh, I forgot, the iPhone doesn't have widgets, or a desktop...
21. greenman - November 10, 2009 3:59 PM
Well I can still have 3g on and the phone lasts all day easily with heavy use but with 3g off it lasts 3 days with heavy use. So it isnt really a problem. I don't notice much of a speed difference without 3G and my battery lasts longer. So no it still isn't a problem. I'm just prolonging my battery life. Jesus man it's just a product. I don't affiliate with apple other than using their phone. I don't buy their overpriced computers or buy into the lifestyle that some users do. Its just a phone man, get over yourself.

Although I'm not picking a side I still think it's funny that you post that article like its some sort of unbiased journalism. Dude, if your going to only get your information from appleinsider don't expect people to think that your information is credible.

Where do you idiots live?
What? I can't get 3G when I'm netting crawdads with Billy Bob on the Bayou? Shit! I really wanted to post a facebook status there! I spend 99% of my time in Minneapolis so it couldn't be less of an issue.
