Nov 14 2009Transfurniture: Couch Turns Into Bunk Bed

Ever wanted a couch that transforms into bunk beds? Me neither. I do want one that turns into a fighter jet though. Okay you got me, I do want a transformer bunk bed. BUT IT BETTER NOT BE SENTIENT OR I WILL DRAG THAT SHIT OUT INTO THE YARD AND BURN IT.
A SOFABED THAT DOES DOUBLE DUTY, Mobelform's Doc folds out into not one, but two twin sized beds stacked one atop the other: in short, a bunk bed. Included are the necessary mattresses as well as a ladder and short rail to prevent mid-night tumbles.
This reminds me of the time my cousin was spending the night and my parents let him sleep in my bunk bed and made me sleep on the floor. Well, he rolled out of the bed in the middle of the night and fell five feet to the ground and didn't even wake up. I thought he was dead. He might have been dead.
Hit the jump for another bed making the transformation.

Thanks to Oisin, who once made love on a pull-out sofa bed. Once -- just once.

@18: Or you can be a man, slap both bitches and then pound her in the ass. Your choice really. (Psst, go with the bunk bed.)
20. Lexx - November 15, 2009 1:59 AM
I love that the 'short rail to prevent mid-night tumbles' is only on one side. Coz people only roll in one direction when they sleep.
21. D.Rambone - November 15, 2009 3:41 AM
@20 actually, I thinks it's supposed to go against a wall. Hence, only one rail. If you're using it in an open space then... idk. Put some blocks under the side without the rail, that way you always roll the other way lol
Either way, this is really cool.

I didnt die. Lost all feeling in my legs, arms, and torso tho. But hey its not all a loss. I can still type and I can still get an erection. And all it took was a special keyboard and years of muscle therapy.
24. Foxx - November 15, 2009 9:26 AM
so.. if i take the top bunk, i fall off the back side. If i take the bottom i got a rail stopping me from coming off the back side but imma kick the damn ladder every time i get up
25. Kyster - November 15, 2009 11:39 AM

@ 9 & 22 Who in the history of bunkbeds has ever used the ladder? you know you either bounced of your siblings bottom bed up to the top or climbed up the supports at the end........or you were too F'ed up to make it to the top so you crawled into the bottom with your friends little sister/daughter......i've said too much

The color of your furniture sofa also plays a significant role. The lighter-colored ones can help refract light. Thus, your room becomes even bigger in your and your guests’ eyes. The problem with them, though, is they do not hide dirt and stains.

It's just an opinion. I am sure some of your opinions could be argued in the same exact way, but why put all the energy into doing that? Your counter-point, while acceptable, is all undermined by your obvious "pre-bias" against things that Alex writes. Much like his bias going into MVA, you had a bias going into his article.
