I have an iPhone (and Android myPhone) at work, and I don't really like either, but there's no need to defend Apple. Just the fact that Moto attacks iPhone to promote their (clunky Javamaphone) shows Apple is the leader.

I like the iPhone. The droid's are nice too but I still feel iPhone is better. I do prefer windows based PC's over Apple though.

If theres one thing i hate its fanboys, almost as bad as twitards. I mean I do have a macbook but its not like I brag about it, but it does serve my purpose better than any pc does (which is storing active viruses for fun because they dont affect macs). But one thing for sure my macbook will never be able to compete with my alienware desktop.

* "vague information": Android is open source. All the information is out there; you just need to look for it. The iPhone SDK and documentation are also freely available, but only for so long as Apple cares to make them so. Slight advantage: Android
* "scare tactics": I don't see anything scary about a list of unimplemented features. If you do, then maybe you're afraid of Apple losing market share. Advantage: neither (irrational premise)
* "imitate": The iPhone is also an imitator. Palm, Symbian, and RIM all had operating systems on music-playing web-browsing phones before the iPhone. Advantage: IBM, who developed the first smartphone.
* "iDon't need a droid": No; you don't, but you don't really need an iPhone either. Advantage: neither (irrational premise)
* "iDon't have a problem with iTunes": Not having a problem with something isn't the same as using it because it is the best available option for you. The iPhone doesn't give you those options. Advantage: Android.
* "bash other brands": Clearly presented as a joke, this is sadly the only valid point. Casting aspersions on your competition doesn't prove that your product is suitable for the consumer, and consumers tend to make out better when there is more competition. But they need unbiased information to make the right choice for them, which is not what you get from biased comparative marketing.

@54 this type of comment is in the same vein as the fanboys'. It's a phone. It works pretty good, has a lot of users and a bajillion apps. It doesn't have some features other phones have. If those features are important to you, use a different phone. It's like eating soup with a spoon, and saying people eating their salad are doing so with precious shitty forks.

@49 again, just like we've told everyone else on this board, WATCH THE WHOLE COMMERCIAL BEFORE YOU START BITCHING! I stopped using Macs about twelve years ago, and I'll never ever go back. However I have two iPods and a Shuffle, and just got an iPhone a few months back and it's awesome. It's already been embraced by the public, and I have pages of apps and games, etc. etc and that's part of the reason. There's so much shit already out for it. I don't need open source doodads or multi-platform ding dongs or anything, I just want a phone that I can get on the web and most importantly PLAY KATAMARI ON!
