Nov 14 2009Impressive: 300,000 Birds Perform Air Ballet
I have no idea who the hell can tell that's 300,000 birds, but I'm running with it. And by running I mean flying. Just like those birds. Except less graceful. But equally naked! Think of me as like the Eleventh Plague of Egypt, if the Eleventh Plague of Egypt were a naked man standing on the roof flapping his arms. I'm coming for you, Pharoah! *caw caw!*
It's a bird! It's a cloud! It's a bird cloud [yahoobuzz]

It's rather common for birds to do this in Denmark, that there is a perfectly normal thing during autumn when the birds migrate.
It sounds pretty reasonable for there to be 300.000 birds, that's pretty average.
18. Kev - November 15, 2009 3:06 PM
If those birds were 1 dollar bills i would have like... 300,000 dollars! mmmmm dollars.........

@16. Damn, you're old.
And 300,000? Seems like somebody's pumping the numbers. Impressive nonetheless.

This is definitely not fake, and 300.000 doesn't seem overstated... This happen every spring and autumn in the marshlands of Jutland, Denmark where this video is from. Up to one million birds from all the countries around the baltic gather just after sunset and make the most amazing formations and occasionally when a preying bird attacks it will literally get shot down by birdshit and vommit... We call it "Black Sun" because the birds will fill out the sky and block the sunset.
