Nov 3 2009I'd Rock It: 'I Be Au Sm' Geek Shirts For Sale

This is a Threadless shirt titled 'I Be Au Sm' that was designed by Lawrence Villanueva. If you look carefully and are super observant it spells 'GEEK' whether you read top to bottom or left to right, but NOT right to left. Then it spells 'EGKE' or 'EKGE', neither of which is an SAT word, SO WHO CARES? $18 scores you the shirt and some geeky pride. And speaking of prides: RAWR! rawr! RAWR! RAWR! Get it? Lions, silly!
Thanks to The Phat Fat Man, who is awesomely robust.

7. lookaze - November 3, 2009 2:20 PM

Is that a 303 in the top corner where it says I be au sum?? I do believe so, making that design unbelievably awesome. I see about ten things in there I am a proud owner of AND there's binary, FTMFW

The chemistry in the G is clearly wrong. There is no way that a hydrogen would simultaneously be bound to two atoms unless the molecule was ionic and energetically excited. And even so, it would be transiently excited and would not last long enough to exist on the geek shirt. The person who designed this is clearly not a geek. Thusly, I declare this a miserable FAIL!

Where's the steam punk? And the Comic books?

@13 Actually, I think you're right. For some reason, I thought it was a Dharma, and considering how geeky the metastory behind Lost can be, it made sense in my mind.

@14 and 20 Totally agree
