Because I love you all and am so proud of your accomplishments, here's Geekologie Reader Brian's recent Cisco Systems "bars" tattoo. For those of you not in the know, it's a stylized version of the Golden Gate Bridge. AND YES TATTOOS COUNT AS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. But, no matter what your BFF may have told you, being first in the comments doesn't.

Sorry, even stylized, it really doesn't resemble a bridge. At least to my eye.
I would recommend adding more to the bottom of it to make the bottom even.
At least it would resemble a bridge more. Right now, I see more resemblance to two hands flipping me the bird.

To be within cisco brand guidelines the bridge can not be used by itself and is only to be displayed with the Cisco logo type. There are also boundary issues to be considered. The required free space around the logo is the height of the largest spine of the bridge. It's clear that the distance between the top corner of the bridge and the edge of his should is less than the required distance.
He really should have consulted the brand guidelines before making such a major mistake...
to #9. It's a stylization of the golden gate bridge... it's in San FranCISCO... get it? The previous and original incarnation of the logo was a much clearer link to the Golden gate, but with a recent push to better market the brand to the general public, it got much more stylized and softer IMO.

I live eat sleep breathe dream and teach Cisco. It lives vicariously though me, only possible tat i could think of getting was this. When countless hours have been devoted to certifications, it sort of has become who I am. Still waiting on that job offer from them ^_^
