Oct 21 2009Holy Amazing: POP-UP Book LEGO Scene

This is a LEGO scene constructed in the form of a pop-up book. It's absolutely amazing and has a giant pagoda that folds together in the middle. I couldn't even imagine building something so impressive so I'm just going to hang my head in shame and cry into this pile of DUPLO blocks. Yes, DUPLO -- I'm not allowed to play with LEGO. IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO CHOKE ON THEM THEN WHY DO YOU MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE CANDY?!

Thanks to david and Lee, who once popped out of a pop-up book at a birthday party and scared a bunch of children.

OMG "I win" is the new Firstard, make it stop.

Anywho that was awesome, had to have taken 4eva.

mmmmmm, its more of a leaflet that a 'book'

Yes, good thing that pagoda folds up because he obviously brings it everywhere!
It is a huge hit with the ladies in the bar... "Excuse me while I whip this out."

gizmoduck does win.... good job

THAT was the shortest friggin pop up story I've ever read

You misspelt "once". Keep trying though

How appropriate that the LEGO people are yellow.

I keed. I keed.

There was TOTALLY a lego out of place on the base of the pagoda at 1:50

ok, maybe not.

damn that's cool

@7 perhaps GW meant to say 'one' as in when someone explains something in numerical order - only he didn't give us a 'two' because he wants to leave that conclusion to you..... or perhaps me missed a c in the word afterall, I know

Keep popping your snidely, arrogant cock-shaped head in here everytime you catch a type-o though

Great!

That is sick impressive to the power of rad. Seriously, good work!

Wish I could read the text at the end of the video. Any translators?

it's fixed @7, you can be happy & go find something else that out of place now

@13 'pop-up kinkaku-ji made in japan'

is so preeety.

@13
as in pop-up "golden corner temple" made in Japan.

@13 actually I'm lying, the title page says pop-up kinkaku-ji (kinkaku-ji is in yellow) - I have no idea wtf the last part says

It comes with George Bush vomit.

@13 and naas - oh my bad, you were asking the end part.

It's basically "thank you for watching"

- Never will I eat coco krispies and type in the same time, again. -

the problem you have is that, as an adult, it's easier to choke on a duplo block. while a regular sized one will fall right down your throat, and duplo sized piece will get lodged there.

remember to chew.

@20 do you know what it says in hiragana characters? I can only make out the 2nd part 'gatougozai mashita' which doesn't make sense in english

@22 "saiko mada bla bla bla"

My Jap is a rotty now... but i quite certain that means "thus the end of presentation" in a very formal way.

Dear god, I was holding my breath the whole time cause I was completely expecting it to just fall apart.

wow. great job on the lego pop-up book. the music sucks bad tho.

It's not just 'a giant pagoda', it's KINKAKU-JI!

AKA, the Golden Pavilion, or Golden Temple. It's a real place in Kyoto. It's one of the most famous temples in all of Japan.

Why does that matter? Because it makes it (imo) even MORE impressive, because of the amount of details they matched.

That's cute, if I had the time and enough legos I would make one with robuts that shoot out ping-pong balls. ohho hoho.....yess.

This is way too geek to me! The time spent on that must hurt his wife in the ass! But still... I LOVED IT!!!
