Blu-ray is stupid for any movie made before 2000, due to the simple fact that movies made before that year were meant to be seen primarily in a theatre, which provides a visual experience LESSER than a blu-ray. That means blu-rays aren't movies as the filmmakers intended them to be seen.

At this point I will pretty much only watch movies shot on HD digital on Blu-Ray, because that's the only way I feel comfortable I'm not hyper-rezzing some movie that wasn't meant to look so clear you can see the grain.

It's actually only 3 figures in 135,000, you don't count the zero's if its flat 10, 100, 1,000 etc, but if it were 135,000.01 then it would count the zeros and be 8 figures. If it were 135,001 it would be six. See what I'm saying?

P.S. I'm only a freshmen in high school.

A quick lesson in movie Making for # 43: When a movie is filmed in 35mm, the amount of pixels is far greater then the best Hi-Def film equipment out there. When an old film is put into Blu-Ray format there is a huge difference in quality. To prove my point watch, The Good The Bad and The Ugly on DVD and then in Blu-Ray. You will be surprised. You're probably asking yourself, why use digital when film is better. Digital is easier to handle, no winding, no developing, instant results, easier reproduction etc . . .

My 2 channel vandersteen speakers were $2000 alone and far better then any Steinway & Sons speakers (# 47, you have no idea what you are talking about). I've seen million dollar systems, very impressive. I personally could not see myself spending that much on a system. But this is America, spend your money however you want . . . a seat for every ass

That looks like the pricey ass record player they came out with 6 years ago with the shock absorbers for each corner, There is no way this can be the actual sticker price for a glorified BLURAY DVD player.
