Aug 4 2009Voltromas The Transforming Tank Engine

I like trains, and not just because they go CHOO CHOO. I also like the hobos that jump on them! THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME, OKAY? Anyway, this is a Thomas the Tank Engine/Voltron mashup toy available from Singapore for around $8. It is in no way shape or form licensed or legal. But it is cool. Everybody's calling it a Transformer but it is clearly a throwback to Voltron. Who, despite being a robot, I still liked as a child because he was rainbow colored and, damnit, I'm a sucker for a rainbow. One time I even got a girlfriend to dress up as Rainbow Bright on Halloween. And not to brag, but she did go home with the handsomest pirate at the party. I was one sad ninja turtle. :(
Hit the jump for a couple more shots.

Tomas the Transformer! [likecool]
Thanks to Richard, who agrees he needs a sword.

20. SmokingGirl - August 4, 2009 4:32 PM
My son would probably love this since he's all about trains and Thomas the Tank Engine. That said, has anybody actually watched Thomas the Tank Engine? All the engines live in fear of Sir Topem Hat turning them into scrap metal...
Oh well, it's not as bad as Curious George who NEVER gets in trouble. Look, what a silly monkey, he just killed that person by tumbling all the cement blocks on top of them. "What a silly, silly monkey," said the man in the big yellow hat. Blah!
21. OJ's Mom - August 4, 2009 4:47 PM
Fück Thomas the Train, and all of the repugnant soccer moms that buy that sh|t and keep that company in business. If Thomas is a train, he is the gayest Fücking train I have ever seen!
22. OJ's Mom - August 4, 2009 4:48 PM
@20 - Never Diss Curious George. Ever. He Fücking rocks. So does the Man in the Big Yellow Hat. I loved them both as a kid, and I grew up to be one well-adjusted mother Fücker.

FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max and a friend totalled his friend's brother's car, and made it look like the wrecking was done by a rival school.

31. Jaded Icon - August 5, 2009 7:59 AM
The creator of Thomas the Train should be found and shot. Trains have always been associated with innovation, discovery and manliness. To turn them in effeminate speaking overgrown horse carriages who can only talk about "feelings" is an outrage! Unless the show makes lots of money.....then who the f*ck cares, they're rich baby, RICH!

Took a few days to look for this thing.. Found it at a night market.. And bought one for S$10.90..
It's actually made in China, says so on the package.. Though it is sold here in Singapore..
Gotta give the Chinese some credit for their creativity..

I love how the punk bitch geekologie writer removes my comments, and leaves such drivel as this shit in here.
Forgive me for writing a coherent and civil comment!!! Use some of that KY lube and shove this train up your ARSE!
