You know I love you. I love your sushi and your weird sexual fetishes. But what's up with the robot thing, bro? That shit ain't right. First Gundam and now a 59-foot Tetsujin 28-go (Gigantor)? I mean, I'm worried about you. One minute I'm in a diaper being spanked by a geisha (enjoying myself) and the next thing you know, BOOM, let's built a permanent giant robot statue in Kobe. Needless to say, I'm gonna have to reevaluate our relationship.

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max hit his boss in the face with a shovel, and was in line to be hanged when he was picked to be the sheriff of a small town. Later when he shows up at his old job, the people there said - I thought you was hung. Max replied - you are right.

I thought it was obvious why they were building them. Inside each robot is an anti-missile system. They make them giant robots so that we don't suspect anything.

From my understanding, they're gonna build about 5,030 of these statues, and eventually have them all fuse together and make one giant robot, about as big as Madagascar, and have it fly to the moon to intercept NASA's magic moon missiles. But don't take my word for it, I asked Karl Malden.
