Jul 15 2009Geekologie: Legit News Source Cited By CNN
This is the part of the day where I toot my own horn *BLAAAAAT!* because Geekologie is so awesome. So, you remember the post about the texting teen that fell into a manhole? Well CNN cited Geekologie (action is at 0:30) in a television news story about the incident. SHAZAM! Now who's a legitimate news source? This site. Oh, breaking story! -- Geekologie Writer named world's greatest lover. Run with it, CNN.

This is "blog" right?
59. STOMPY - July 15, 2009 12:10 PM

68. naas - July 15, 2009 12:43 PM
@65 absolutely GFS
@STOMPY - GW moves around a lot like bin laden & he has server location scramblers (SLSs) that masks his location.
Daisy also mentioned something once about how GW drives around in a jeep with a generator, broadcasting equipment & some chick that was into him - posting to geekologie illegally & running from the police for a pirate radio station he hosted
69. Freddy K - July 15, 2009 12:44 PM
wow about 60 posts and no Daisy...
This is awesome. Nice going GW.
#32 GFS, Most of the steampunk stuff is lame (some cool stuff, but I don't need to see it everyday), bacon is awesome, but I have to agree with you on the Twilight thing. WTF was that about?

88. Hervard Merved - July 15, 2009 3:00 PM
First of all - congratulations with the exposure ( theres is no such thing as bad publicity, especially not on CNN ;_)
On topic: They should just put the same feature in cellphones as they have in cars that have tv´s; the videosource cuts of when the car is moving.
They already have the motiondetection and the GPS unit - just make cellphones that you can´t text on while your walking. I would buy that for my chldren, when they are old enough ( which I decide ) to own and use cellphones.
Which means that I have to get some children to proove my point...hmm
