James Cauty created a work entitled Splatter that features the cartoons from your childhood (or mine at least) the way they should have been: bloody (two blood posts in a row -- body fluids FTW!).
Pop artist James Cauty's work Splatter repurposes classic Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera cartoons and gives them a Sin City-style blood spatter makeover, "presenting the viewer with unrelenting acts of bloody, cartoon violence, which, in cartoon law, ultimately cannot cause fatal injury."
Great, this is just great. Like we don't have enough problems with today's youth already. Namely: spelling. Seriously, they can't do it -- and I, for one, blame texting. And Grand Theft Auto.

Also, weren't these cartoons plenty gnarly anyways? Beheadings, suicides, stabings, lotsa shootings, slicings, dicing, getting blown up, crushed (mostly by boulders or anvils), death rayed, run over, poisoned, not to mention the crossdressing, racism, and nudity.
Not like those pansey-ass excuse for cartoons they show today, them's were REAL cartoons!

Daisy's comments never, and as far as I can remember, have never reflected the movie "Never back down," in anything more than name only. That's the charm in Daisy's whimsical comments. Thus in lies the irony. If you're going to tell her that you hate her, at least hate her for the right reasons.

if you click the video and go to youtube there is another version of the video that is uncut and not so artsy fartsy. Apparently Warner Brothers had a problem with the first version so the artist had to make it less direct and straight forward. The other video is better, but the sound has been disabled by request of Warner Brothers.
