This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max really wanted a BB gun for christmas, and let everyone know it. He was told several times that he'd shoot his eye out. When Christmas finally got there, Kolchak the night stalker gave him the BB gun, and he went ahead and shot his eye out as fortold in the scriptures.
