A bunch of protesters were out holding signs against Electronic Arts during the E3 convention because, hey, fundamentalists get bored too, you know. And apparently they don't play video games.
It seems that gaming giant EA, (that's Electronic Anti-Christ for those of you church folk) has angered the religious denizens of LA with its sinfully spectacular title, Dante's Inferno. The 'Go to Hell' tagline seems to the main focus of debate, with angry protesters warning ignorant gamers to steer clear of the title, regarding it as 'tainted' and 'evil.'
"We are on a crusade to stop the blasphemous glorification of HELL and its minions as presented by Dante's Inferno. The ever decaying youth and slovenly adults who engage with Dante's Inferno are a victim of our society's pointless need to flirt with Satan and his lustful campaign to corrupt human souls...We say NO. We say inferNO."
First of all, "blasphemous glorification of hell", really? This isn't Sims: Hell, it's Dante's Inferno. You battle wicked beasts and shit. I can pretty much guarantee nobody is gonna walk away from this game thinking, "you know, hell looks like an alright place". YOU HAVE TO WALK AROUND WITH LIT CHARCOALS IN YOUR ASS. That is not blasphemous glorification. That is burny-ous constipation. Secondly, I don't flirt with Satan no matter how drunk I get. Or how much fiery vaginas he promises.

Also just want to point out the sign(s) all have EA on them somewhere. Like the Praystation sign... Why the EFF would a religious nut put an EA logo on there like that where it is? Unless that guy's initials are EA and he's signed his sign... OR it's for publicity and every photo is going to have an EA in it somewhere...

You people do realize this is how Daisy got started. There was some YouTube post about a fight and multiple people one after the other posted FAKE, this is a scene from Never Back Down. The shadow thing came from multiple people posting FAKE about a home made land speeder.
My suggestion is to read what other people post before posting. Somebody may have already said exaclty what you're thinking.

This is ridiculous. For a lot of reasons, of course, but what I think is the most ridiculous is that people are protesting something called Dante's Inferno when The Inferno is where Christians (and non-Christians) get almost all of our ideas for what Hell is. Not the Bible, which has some information on what Hell might be, but it's sparse, but a book by a man who condemned people he knew to Hell because they rubbed him the wrong way. And for some reason, no one's protesting actual Dante, so maybe this is just a smidgen hypocritical.

If I remember my ol' University dayz well (mostly foggy), it's the first section of Dante Alighieri 'Divine Comedy' (14th cent). The Comedy Itself symbolizes the soul as it journeys towards God. The Inferno describing the realization/rejection of sin..........A very fine toilet reader.
As far as I know, the quote, "engage with Dante's Inferno" has nothing to do with this, but if it get you to read it, no harm done.

Oh come on! Like this is the first game like this? I didnt hear this big a commotion over Jericho, where you KILL Gods first born creation, made in his own image, and kill un-countable numbers of unbaptized babies, and spend almost the whole game in purgatory. What about Darksiders? You play a horseman of the apocolypse and you fight Angels and Demons. No? What about the Book of dantes inferno? What about the movie? What about Devil may cry which was somewhat based off of dantes inferno? Nobody cares, they just want a reason to go out and protest and GET ATTENTION.
