The $70 Grill Alert Talking Remote Thermometer is a talking remote thermometer for your grill. You just jam the temperature probe in your choice of meat, push some buttons, and then sit in a hammock and guzzle beer while deliciousness deliciousizes itself. When the meat reaches your predetermined temperature of choice, the thing tells you it's time to slap that bitch on a plate and OM NOM the shit out of it. Pork chop sandwiches! Also, meat probe -- I have one. Ladies?

i dont know.. if you cant cook a burger or a steak like a real man (without the lame "sharper image" crap) then you really have no business on a grill

If you don't know how to cook a steak correctly then this might help out, otherwise anyone who's spent more than 2 hrs collectively in front of a grill knows 2 things - (1) a steak never needs to be flipped over & (2) this thermometer isn't necessary
Happy monday to you

I don't know, I think something like this for the bathroom would be better. I could see that baby monitor looking thing saying BEEF when number 2 works for me..... followed of course, by an autoflush and a little robot voice saying THANK YOU FOR YOUR LEAVINGS
17. BK - June 1, 2009 11:30 AM
Does it come with different voice applications? I'd want mine to sound like Paul Rudd. That guy is a hoot. I'd spend the whole time laughing at his cooking comments. Tasty speak, like:
"RAWRR! Rare!"
or
"This steak is well done, sir."
or
"Get me the F out this grill! I'm burning alive!!!!! AHHHHH!"
LOL
Crazy guy........

OK dumb-asses...
This meat thermometer has been around forever, I got one of these for Christmas over 2 years ago. You can't use it for steaks or hamburgers because the probe is too big (that's what she said). This is for large chunks of meat like... a turkey or lamb or a roast - It takes about 1 1/2 hours to barbecue a turkey.. so It is nice to have something that lets you know when your meat is done and no longer contains killer bacteria.

Watchu talkin' bout, KD???? I use mine all the time for steak & burgers.
