I have always wanted to be a storm chaser; the beauty of tornados and severe storms are just breath-taking.
But this was weak. They didn't go "inside" the tornado, they were just next to a tornado; and it looked like a medium F1 maybe a small F2. Pffffffttttttttttttt! When they have a medium F3 go over their heads while they're laying in a ditch OR they have a small F4 chase them down the highway, then they can talk to me.

crazy, but its in the name of science, this helps us understand this weather phenomena better.

Totally misrepresenting title, Geekologie Writer. They don't go inside the tornado at all. They don't even get that close to it. And we've seen footage like this a hundred times. Nothing special.

That being said, it actually was pretty cool. I mean... it's a tornado... and they were like, "Hey, let's do this." And I was like, "You're gonna die." And they were like, "Hope not."

The title is fine people. They did capture INSIDE a tornado, because the tornado turns on its side so they can capture the inside with their camera. They weren't captured inside the tornado by tornado gremlins or anything.

They were defiantly inside that tornado. The reason the video isn't the greatest is that they are saving the really good video for the show on the discovery channel when it comes out this fall. I have chased before, and I know the TVN tornadovideos.net uses stuff like this to promo their "real" video that they sell to media outlets to make a living on. They are also the stars of the show Storm Chasers on Discovery, and they won't show the best stuff until they get a chance to air it on tv.
