Music fans at the recent UK Download Festival gathered around an EA booth to celebrate the future release of Brutal Legend and set a new 'people simultaneously playing the same song on air guitar' Guinness World Record. In this case, there were 440 people (beating last year's 318) playing Motörhead's "Ace of Spades".
'That was one of the raddest jams I've ever been involved with. The crowd played their air guitars better than Eddie Van Halen! Then they destroyed 'em good and proper. Who cares, right? I'm pretty sure that just about every rock concert I have ever been to has had multiple people "air guitaring" at it. Concerts with a helluva lots more than four hundred people at it.
Guinness seems to be becoming more and more of a joke each time I hear their name.

I was there and it was rather fun!
and yeah its an easy record and its kinda pointless but aren't most of the records in guiness rather pointless, also to the guy who mentioned 'Emo looking gay pride rally' erm.... what the hell man? your perception of an emo is abit crap :/ and it was at DOWNLOAD which is a METAL/ROCK festival, so to put it short SUCK MY ROCK \m/,
