May 19 2009Baaaaad Idea: Cheap Terminator Costumes

terminator kids.jpg

Just in time for the new movie, Toys-Я-Us is selling $13 T-600 (looks more like a T-6 if you ask me) costumes for children. I mean, it's not even Halloween. You let your kid run around the neighborhood with this thing on and it's game over, man! Wait, that was Aliens. Anyway, the costumes were made to compliment the rest of the crap they're marketing to children under 13 who shouldn't even be allowed to see the movie. Just sayin', my dad took me to see the original Terminator when I was 4. It all makes sense now, doesn't it?

Thanks to Reason, who once killed a T-600 with a laser beam and then called its mother Robo-Cop.

FIRST!!

This remnds me of that cheap spongebob costume they used to sell. Lol it was like a bag with a three holes in it

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This uis exactly like tha scene int he movie Never BAck Down where Max dressed a dinosaur up in a robot costume. He was both turned on and repulsed at the same time.

It was AlienS GW! AlienS with a bloody S!

now now be nice

So that's your beef with robots, then.

I want to know why they insist on making toys for movies that are rated R

your 5 year old will now want to watch terminator and aliens and predetor and all the other nightmare inspiring movies they are now insanstly curious about seeing because they want to play the toys "just like the movies"

i understand the movie maniacs toys sold in places like spencer gifts

but toys r us??? thats pretty close to criminal... i mean its obviously not designed for an adult... unless your verne troyer

would anybody complain if i 'accidently' wasted a whole army of miniature robots with a pew-gun?

peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew

This is actually an excellent idea since it will allow our progeny to evade the robot hordes by blending in!

The trailer says the movie is PG13, which to me is why the 3rd movie sucked... this costume says it all man.

I should watch terminator one day.....

WOOOO i finally done made it.

So..................do we have the "okay" to kill these things?

do we need a ok?

i taught that bastard teddy ruxpin a lesson at the age of 5 and i wont hesitate to teach these a lesson with my foot.

MUST SEE GUYS!!! >>

Its stupid shit like this which lead to the movie not being rated R and therefore being watered down so it can sell toys to kids.

I can't wait. Some moron will dress their kid up like this, teach them to shoot toy guns and playfight with swords. Then they will take them to the movie, and sue the studio because it taught their kids violence was okay...

FERST!!!!

It looks like a young Hannibal Lecter prison outfit to me.Perfect way to silence a noisy kid.

This is not too bad. It would be worse if they were making little children suits for robots.

Someone Should kill that kid.

Army of Two anybody?

Your kids wears that...and he'll be making lamp shades out of your sweet ol' neighbor's skin . GUARANTEED!

Dear GW writer,

While a robotic death army attack is impending, we must learn from our ancestors in dealing with alien forces, biological or mechanical, that threaten human existence.
Back when ghosts, witches and demons weren't a bunch of slackers, people were hunted, haunted and killed by the masses. In response, some dressed as their enemy to fool them into thinking they were dealing with their own kind. Proof of their success is the fact that we no longer feel threatened by those forces.
Applying the same principle in our era, this robot costumes should keep our young safe, as robots will just think they are dealing with other robots and move on to slaughter those foolish enough to not wear them.

It is so obviously a robot dressed as a kid dressed like a robot. I mean come on! How stupid do you think we are......
