Apr 16 2009Faceless Watch Lacks Face, Hides LEDs
The LED watch was designed by Hironao Tsuboi and appears to just be a metal band. But it's actually hiding a deep, dark secret: it once ran over a bum and didn't stop! Or, LEDs. Push a button, BOOM: the time. Don't push the button, BOOM: no time. Push my buttons, BOOM: fisticuffs.

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake bhecause the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the Movie Never BAck Down where MAx is trying to open an ATM, and tries a saw, a sledgehammer and a torch. LAter it aflls over and the door pops open on its own, apparently it wasn't locked.

@13 Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.......I totally agree, Always wanted a Tokyo Flash, but can't spend more than half a second deciphering my watch, that's how auctions are lost.
Now this watch looks cool, and can be read quick, all be it on a 24 hr. scale instead of the US 12hr. Why do we in the states always make things stupid, like 12hr. time, standard instead of metric, Fat instead of thin.....ugg

Anyway, maybe I am smarter than all you guys but I just sent an e-mail to the manufacturer, and this is my reply:

The watch project is moving forward though It takes few more months to release.

At this moment we are in a tooling stage.
We have to apologize for have you wait for such long time. I am so sorry.
To achieve the thinnest structure with detail outlook, took lots of time with engineers.
Retail price, we are looking within 30,000JPY (320USD in current rate).
For shipping, we can ship directly from our warehouse though I don’t know how much
By EMS Air (our default carrier) since it goes by weight.
I am sorry but I want you to wait till actual watch is ready for you.
