Mar 20 2009The Imperial March Played On A Hard Drive
We've already heard the Imperial March played on an old floppy disk and a Tesla coil, so why not a hard drive? Dum Dum Dum, Dum-te-Dum, Dum-te-Dum. It's like you're really there! You know, in outerspace. Look, there's Darth Vader! Ackkk -- he's force-choking me, quick, somebody take off his helmet! ZOMG -- WTF is that?! Back on, back on!
Thanks to the-iguana, who doesn't change colors. That's a chameleon, silly!

@6: it already has been used. it was called clicks and cuts and was really cool... ten years ago. the ad industry loved it. before that people sampled popping popcorns and called it drum and bass.
but then again, haven't people hacked electrical appliances to make experimental music since, like, the 30s? electro-acustic music?
and then again, even before electricity, there was the now mostly forgotten but probably insanely cool subculture of automatic music in the 19th century (pianos and organs and carillions and pots and pans and general wierd stuff controlled with punchcards and musicbox pegs and stuff) that's what I want to see. someone playing the imperial march with a punchcard controlled xylophone and recorder. darth woody!

@12 - Eeeew, I just noticed that I'm staring a dude in the crotch, eew. You see he's got the hard drive between his legs. Next time we get up close a crotch it better be a female crotch, that much is for sure.

TINA TURNER
Well the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
You dont think of them as human
You dont think of them at all
You keep your mind on the money
Keeping your eyes on the wall
Chorus
I'm YOUR PRIVATE DANCER
A DANCER FOR MONEY
ILL DO WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO
I'm YOUR PRIVATE DANCER
A DANCER FOR MONEY
ANY OLD MUSIC WILL DO
I wanna make a million dollars
I wanna live out by the sea
Have a husband and some children
Yeah I guess I want a family
All the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
Repeat chorus twice
Deutschmarks or dollars
American express will nicely thank you
Let me loosen up your collar
Tell me do you wanna see me do the shimmy again
Repeat chorus
