Mar 24 2009Okay: WALL-E/Watchmen Trailer Mashup
This is a mashup of the WALL-E trailer set to the audio of the Watchmen trailer, because, well, I don't know why. Shit, people get bored.
I decided to take a crack at what many have done for other films; and set the audio from Watchmen's epic IMAX teaser to scenes from one of my favourite films of all time. So sit back, and enoy WALL•E redone in Watchmen's style!
Not bad. Not super dooper either, but hey, what did you expect? And speaking of expectations -- I have a blind date tonight. Boy, I sure hope she's sporting dual eye patches!
Thanks to NeoAaron, who I suspect of killing the old Aaron and stealing his life force.

TINA TURNER
Well the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
You dont think of them as human
You dont think of them at all
You keep your mind on the money
Keeping your eyes on the wall
Chorus
I'm YOUR PRIVATE DANCER
A DANCER FOR MONEY
ILL DO WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO
I'm YOUR PRIVATE DANCER
A DANCER FOR MONEY
ANY OLD MUSIC WILL DO
I wanna make a million dollars
I wanna live out by the sea
Have a husband and some children
Yeah I guess I want a family
All the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
Repeat chorus twice
Deutschmarks or dollars
American express will nicely thank you
Let me loosen up your collar
Tell me do you wanna see me do the shimmy again
Repeat chorus

I really liked it. Although they are very different films, it's pretty funny that so many scenes are similar.

wow #11, I never thought someone posting first comments could top the pinnacle of fail that doing so is. You Sir have pushed beyond and created a whole new level of fail. Your parents should be proud.

Back when I used to be something of a geek, I often wondered why people were a bit stand-offish.
In retrospect, I'm sure it wasn't because geeks are just stereotyped unfairly, or looked down on by society... but mostly due to the (seeminly high percentage) of people in the "geek community" that seem to get off, or find amusing, bringing something up just to insult it. These people ruined it for the rest of us.
I enjoyed the vid, but I can't help but wonder why it's even up on here if the admin who posted it didn't even think it was good? Are you people *that* bored?

Awesome mash-up, but I think my favorite is still "Ten Things I Hate About Commandments."

This is a detailed well written article on movie rental. It would be interesting to know how today's customers view this business. I, for one, have used Seventy mm and I can tell you that their service sucks. I am now not so inclined to try out any other rental service.
