I disagree with really skinny people too, people should look after themselves and not be proud that they're obese. It's un-natural to be that fat ... I am a very active person and work 40 to 50 hours a week.

Just because someone is large does not mean they are unhealthy.

When you become obese, you're doing more damage to yourself, as you add strain to joints and ligaments. A sporty person can get up from said couch and twist an ankle, and be alright, more than likely. A over weight person can run a greater risk of breaking said ankle.

@206 That is simply not true and is physically impossible. A human needs ten calories per pound to sustain ones current weight. So a 150 pound person must eat 1500 calories per day to sustain that weight. So for a 300 pound person it is 3000 calories. So even if one is eating healthy, but eating too much, one will gain/keep weight. And just because people are eating healthy in public doesn't mean they proceed to do so when they are by themselves.
