Mar 14 2009Elementary: The Periodic Table Of Typefaces

Somebody went and made a periodic table of typefaces featuring "100 of the most popular, influential and notorious typefaces today". This is it. Click HERE to see a high-res version, then go ahead and print it out and post it up on your cubicle wall. That way when somebody pokes their head in to ask you about doing some work you can yell, "TALK TO THE PERIODIC TABLE....OF TYPEFACES!". Then they'll all think you're crazy and leave you to your Solitaire.

Inkball is totally the way to go, who plays solitaire anymore?? And yeah, I just spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out if that thing was funny in some way.. it's not.

Yeah, nicely done. Although they left out the notorious font 'Papyrus'.
I see it on so many menus at Lebanese restaurants and it makes me shudder.

@5
It's in the back of the table because everyone knows you're only allowed to use that typeface for a procrastinated PowerPoint presentation. Or maybe a rule that your manager just made and managed to type and print it on copy papers. Tapes them on every wall.

FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never BAck Down where Max was in the bathroom at Baja's house. She found heroin that she thought was coke in his coat pocket, and did a monster line. Baja ended up overdosing, and needed a giant needle shot of bacon ice cream in her chest to recover.
