I haven't been to Auckland in a long long tIme, but i can bet it was made in the south Island. There's a small ski resort along the Crown Ridge road north of Queesntown full of weird cars that they use to take guests back to the top - i should submit some pics - I bet the maker of those did the fabrication work on this one.
