This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie NEver BAck Down where Max was in Japan as an advisor to the army there, fighting samurais. He was captured and lived among the samurai, and came to admire and side with them, and also learned a lot about fighting and honor.
