Feb 4 2009Clever: Video Games As Classic Book Covers

This is a bunch of video game covers in the style of classic books. They were very cleverly made. I posted some more of my favorites after the jump, along with the link to an even larger gallery. So go check them out. Then, check me out. Can you tell I'm flexing? Because I'm not, I'm naturally this muscular. Steroids, folks, they made my penis disappear.
Hit it for a bunch more.

A Second Serving Of Classic, Reimagined Game Covers [kotaku]
Thanks to Julian, who could read and play video games at the same time if he wanted. But why would he want to? Exactly, he wouldn't. That's why he's never done it.

For anyone who doesn't get the reference (either you slept through high school lit. or didn't grow up in the U.S.) do a Google image search for "Penguin Classics."

Sheesh. Don't get so bent out of shape. Also, before you go making harsh allegations of what or what not a person has done, maybe you should research into it a little more.

FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max hires some homeless street dancers fo a TV variety show. They are asked to dance n blackface, and make terribly offensive comments.
Naturally this TV show becane a hit.

There are other gametypes that need to be integrated too, like attacking and defending a bomb. Maybe the objective doesn't stop in this one zone. Maybe the outcome of attacking or defending that bomb affects the entire galaxy/world, like capturable zones in Warhammer.
