Jan 2 2009Yaaaaar!, A Custom Davy Jones Munny Figure

davy-1.jpg

This is a custom Davy Jones Munny figure. You might recall Davy from such blockbusters as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chesticles, and Ass Pirates of the Caribbean: The Geekologie Writer's Cave of Treasure. This particular pirate was made by Mallory Carson of Fullerton, CA.

Mallory is a 21 year old animation major and currently in her senior year at CSU Fullerton. While she's a full-time student, she manages to score some extra cash by selling her artwork.

And to think I sold my soul (and genitals) to pay my way through college. Art -- who would have known? Seriously though Mallory, good lookin'. I mean it -- I'm handsome as hell. We should date casually.

Hit the jump for two more, including one of Davy-in-progress. Also, his peg-leg looks like a summer sausage and is making me hungry.

sixth sense!..haha
will this thing bite?

Happy new year! Now I'm in the mood for some calamari for lunch!

Mmmmm, calamari.

At first I thought this was going to be a toy figure of Davy Jones from...The Monkees! Psych!

It totally looks like Davy Jones from the Monkees!

The tusken raider one was much warmer & cuddly than this.

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like the scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max was recruited to fight the orld champ on the 4th of July and got trained really hard by the penguin, to the point where he almost won, surprising the crap out of Action Jackson.

Daisy, you rock. I love you, and want to show you some pictures I took of myself and photoshopped, which would remind you of the scene in Never Back Down that they had to cut out in order to get an R rating. I can't show them to you yet, though, because they still need work. The shadows are all wrong.

FAKE!!!!

This was lifted directly from a scene in the movie Tender Dracula where Dracula stumbles into a snow covered military outpost in olden times. Noone is suspicious when he tells them that he is the only survivor of a party of travellers, the rest having eaten each other. Even though he is called Dracula.
Later he trips and lands his head in a bear trap.

What's with all the sudden Munny shit? Do not want.

Gw eats some funky looking sausages.
Or, on second thought, gw probably doesn't eat sausages at all. Nope. I'm guessing chair legs. Mummy Gw was probably too poor to cook for the kids and was forced make the best of what she could scavenge from lumberyards. Gw has kept on with her methods due to his raging Oedipus complex. Nobody likes to come over to his place for dinner, and he always has splinters between his teeth which he can only partially remove before habitually eating his toothpick.

While I admit the art is good, I have to second slakdfj:I don't want. The munnies look just like less fun bobble-heads. At least with bobble-heads you can play with the big heads.

Can I buy one! He is awesome!! How much would it cost me in Aus dollars?

Haha funny comments! I'm Mallory Carlson who made this davy jones munny and Beth (or anyone else) if youre interested in a commission just email me at mcarlson701@yahoo.com :)
