Folks, I've had a lot of really bad ideas in my life. And followed through with most of them. But that's neither here nor there, because one thing I never did was mod an inactive grenade into an MP3 player. Inside, modder Matt stuffed a 2GB Sansa Clip MP3 player. Hey Matt, you ever hear the story about that one guy that suspected that other guy of being a terrorist and called Homeland Security on him? Yeah, what's your address?

I think it would be cool and play up the grenade aspect more if the headphone plug was where the pin would go and when you pulled out the headphones, the lever would go up and instead of blowing up, the device would turn on.... ... . ....

@7: Yeah, but what use would it be if the thing turned on after you pulled out the headphones? I want a radio built into a live grenade, so that when "I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair" comes on, I can have a merciful death.

You could offer it to the pilot when your boarding also, tell him that security didn't say anything, it's ok and you have another one for yourself.

It's cool but he should repaint the spoon. Light blue denotes a training dummy. I believe OD green is a live one.

@11: I think you mean @8? Anyway, if you pull the headphones out, and the device comes on, how are you going to listen to it? Or are you referring to the mercy killing reference (that one should be obvious).

This looks cool, but is a horrible idea... Would be funny to see what would happen to someone on a plane with this thing playing and MP3 of ANY middle eastern music/speech and watch people flip the f*** on out...

light blue denotes practice
gold/bronze denotes dummy
green doesn't necessarily mean it's live, but yellow writing/bands means high explosive

ps. no one uses grenades with those fragmentation jackets anymore. The large chucks provide poor coverage in the kill zone and fly at a relativelly low velocity

Haha that's original! Props to this guy. I'd love to have one of those. It's would be quite fun to make like a hightech mp3 grenade in Photoshop. This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max is a senior on the practice football team at Nortre Dame. He shows excellent spirit and hustle at all times although theres no chance he will make the team. In his last game the coach promises to put him into the game, and he does after being coerced by the team. Max's dad who had at one time been ass raped by hillbillies and made to squeal like a pig fimnally goes to a game to see it.

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the website Geekologie where Daisy kept making FAKE!!! photoshop comments that are repetitive in every post and makes dumb jokes that use pop culture movie references and the movie Never Back Down as the punch line for each one.

This is a cool idea, I love the idea of modding normal electronics into unusual cases, like my TV box that plays moving picture shows. No one has commented on how ridiculously heavy that is for an mp3 player... especially a 2gb
