Jan 5 2009Pssst, Over Here: Cheap Knock-Off Brands

knock-off-1.jpg

Knock-offs: they look like the real thing, but are bought out of the back of a skeezy guy's van for a quarter of the price and either break or explode within a week of purchase. Then, to make matters worse, the bastard isn't set up on the same street corner when you go to return the merchandise. What a sham! And speaking of which, I will now perform a magic trick -- Alakasham! Can you still see me? I'm supposed to be invisible. *entering women's locker room* "EEEEEEEEEEKK!!!!!!" Oh, oh shit.

Hit the jump for a few more knock-offs, including a chicken wearing the Colonel's tie.

the pumas, addidas & converse sell great in the dyslexic community because I see tehm all teh tmie

@6 You should try Scientology; I heard it cures things like that.

Haha, I while ago in chinatown (toronto) I picked up a pair of Camel sneakers. Camel cigarettes. Same camel logo and everything. I dont know if theyre actually a knockoff but wtf?

"known" you are hilarious, you dyslexic freak! I needed a good laugh.
Oh and to summarize Daisy's favorite comment and for it to actually mean something - FAKE!!

Bald Sonia lol.

Pat there's no proof or correlation with your religion helping my dyslexia, so I wouldn't believe everything you hear. Besides I head once from Daisy that scientology was fake & had something to do with that movie Never Back Down

I have a pair of those "Pmua" shoes. I flash 'em to my friends, and they think I can actually afford them!

Just kidding, i don't have friends.

I bet they're from Korea. LOL They have a multiple day convention over there for all their knock off shit.

Does that mean my "IPUD" is fake?!?!?

Masterbatory euphemism alert...

KLG is gud!

Kentucky Laid Goodness!

It's illegal to make fakes, but I'd have to guess that these are also illegal... so what's the point? Why not just make the fakes?

I guess lesser nations might have looser laws on infringement... which is why America rocks (especially the central portion of Northern America).

I would sooooooo buy some "CNOVESRE"!

Super sonic?

HAHA that chicken's selling fried human asses, extra crispy

KLC? Where exactly is that place located? By the looks of that sign, it's an highway off-ramp drive through. Sweet! Bucket of original recipe and make it fast! That damn semi looks to be doing about 70 mph!

Why would you need knock-off batteries? If your friends ridicule you for not having REAL Panasonic batteries in your television remote, you need some new friends.

carp!!

Those pmuas are lookin' pretty hype. Where do I buy?

I've actually eaten at the KLG in Taiwan, not gunna lie it was freakin' delicious!

I thought all the KLGs were on Martin Ruther Ding Blvd?

Great post. I ruve dis stuff. I raffed and raffed. Hawarious. Why make fun of the chinee and koree pepo? Dey jus make stuff you buy...NOW! Good deal for you today! You nice guy, you buy!

free xbox live for 5 years at hackedxboxlive.kk5.org

That's very very old in my country
we have durabell batteries, adidos, PEGA (a video game like sega), super mantendo, and more... xD

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max was out hunting for some varmints, and missed his shot. Where his bullet hit the ground, and crude oil came out of the hole.

Max sold the oil rights to his property, and became stupid rich, so he moved to Beverly Hills.

Just like mexico...

KENTUCKY FRIED TIJUANA
ETSBOTS
PUMBA

hahahaha
PUMBA? seriously? I haven't seen those but I've seen "Gualmart"

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like that scene from the movie Tender Dracula where Dracula is a homeless man who tries to drown himself in the swimming pool of a rich family in Beverly Hills. He moves in with them, then disgusts the rich family, beds a few of the women, and takes a bath with the dog.

Thers a lot of those on china, and well yes here on Mexico too LOL, they are cheaper

Mexico, china, europe, everywhere!

in egypt i once saw a shilaba, abibas brand!

Kentucky Lied Gicken FTW!

@7: You got it all wrong- Scientology cures the Kawasaki Virus. . .sometimes

I used to have some PenesamiG batteries.
I don't remember, but I'm almost sure it came with the television's remote control.
As a matter of fact, I live in South America. These things are everywhere now.

And I heard that South Korea's speciality is creating fakes. Works with everything from products to television shows. If you can barely change the name and colour scheme, it's done.

Knock-off perfumes are a big thing where I live. You have Channel, Hugo Boos, Amore Amore, etc. It's actually very funny.

Why make knockoff brands when they sell counterfeit that looks identical to the real thing?

Why make knockoff brands when they sell counterfeit that looks identical to the real thing?

The Sunbucks Coffee creature is scarier than the Burger King king.

MADE IN CHINA!

hah! Complete disregard of the Roman Alphabet!

definitely made in China..

Indonesian's production > China's Production

In Indonesia, handicap, refurbished or rejected items from the original brand factory are sold in a retail store called 'Factory Outlet' for like tenth time less expensive than the original price of perfectly produced item. And of course, the brand name and logo remain as it is. No Pmua or Cnoverse bullshit. It is in fact, have the exact same substance or material as the original one.

I have also seen "iWin". It looks a lot like iPod, and seems legal enough to be sold alongside with iPods.

Also, Puma, Adidas and the likes are all cheaply made and use child labor before being sold for an arm and a leg to bastards like us. The sad thing is that these "counterfeits" probably use the same methods.
I tend to avoid brands, especially in clothing. I don't want to pay 100 euro to advertise a firm, by carrying their tm all over the place.

OMG those sonia earphones, im ashamed to say it but i had bought those, i live in mexico what do u expect?

LAST!

Good post!As i was passing by here and i read your post.
