Jan 15 2009Own Every Famicom Game Ever Made
![]()
Own a Famicom? Want to own all 1,051 officially released games for less than $7 a pop? Well head on down to the Mandarake Complex in Japan and pick those suckers up for only 650,000 yen ($6,500).
Many people who pass by the Mandarake Complex stop for a few minutes, especially with friends or loved ones to reminisce about games they used to own or how they'd love to buy the whole collection.
Now you can! So do it. Then make wallets out of all the crappy games and send me one. Also, I think my mom still has my childhood rattail in an envelope somewhere if you're interested in that. I'll even throw in all my baby teeth if the price is right.
Entire Famicom collection going for only 650,000 yen! [destructoid]
Thanks to MoD, who saved himself $6,500 and downloaded an emulator.

2. Boing - January 15, 2009 9:43 AM
@1 Famicom = Old School NES... It makes sense than somebody compelled to say "First" wouldn't know that. This is geekologie, l2geek.

@2....
I love the people that get twisted over someone posting "FIRST"....makes it all the more fun to post it.

@9, whatever gets your rocks off. It would be nice if the firstards could at least contribute something remotely intelligent from time to time. I know, I know, that's asking way too much.

Then again, the torrent for all NES games is less than 400 MB, and that's over 3000 roms. Not that you need all versions of every rom to play, but you'll want the complete collection -- with all the unreleased, unlicensed and rare stuff.

@10... Ha.... look at you... so bothered. The fact that you let what amounts to a dumb joke/game among posters get to you so much is hilarious. I bet Daisy really gets you torqued!!

Daisy is the most creative person here! I'm pretty sure he deserves some sort of kickback from the producers of Never Back Down, I'm definitely adding that to my Netflix thanks to him.
Somehow beating the dead horse enough brought it back to life, go figure.

Brian - saying first all the time is very ghey. It's been said a million times & it's nothing special or new. People don't get worked up about it like your boner tells you, they just feel bad for you because you're running your own personal firstlympics & illusively winning to report it to us.
Simply put, nobody f***in cares if your first, nobody cares even more that you'll go as far as to say so - and nodoby is really bothered by your gheyness when you need to tell us on the 1st comment that your first.
Yay, you're first Brian. Big up yourself & feel good all day Brian's first everybody yay yaaay yippity yaay

I know I'm going to show my geekiness here, but the store is Mandarake. Mandrake is a mythical plant.

FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is a scale model of a scene from the movie Tender Dracula where Dracula enters his horse drawn carriage into a race where points are scored for running down pedestrians and destroying other cars.
Dracula left the race early with 3 points and severe splinters in 30 percent of his skin.

FAIL!! This post fails on so many levels. Who the hell cares!?
This is exactly like that time when a bunch of kids all got together and had to find a way to complete their destiny of winning the video game championship. They had to beat out a bunch of dastardly gamers who were hell bent on destroying the entire universe with their epic Duck Hunt skills. Their mastery of the light gun is legendary. Then, after they had made it all the way to the final match at the championships, a mysterious official known only to the frightened crowd as 'nestor' introduced the masses to the video gaming device that they would be competing on: the Famicom!
The competitors were instantly overwhelmed by this strategic plan by the dark evil video game director and decided to enlist the help of their top-secret accomplice: R.O.B. The help of their friend ensured their victory in the competition. They became the first bunch of gamers to play the newest version of Mario. One that had never been seen before and they lived to tell about it. Their competition, without the help of the game master R.O.B., all failed miserably and were put to death for their incompetence.

LOL, I was so stoked that I had the option to actually do the dorky "First" Post that I just blurted out the first thing I could think of because I did not want my "First" post to be spoiled by being number 2... lol, i said number 2.
Also, i banged on my keyboard so fast i spelled "First" wrong... Can't believe no one called me out on that!

FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max and Baja were playing Dr. Mario, and Max made sure to videotape the game because he was including the tapes with his college applications. He was applying to medical schools and figured the scores he was getting would get him into any medical school in the country.

I don't think the firstards are going to like you today Known, you took one of their coveted posts. Nicely done :)

I feel so old when people ask questions like "what's a Famicom?"
Well, old and educated. And able to use Google.
24. Brian - January 15, 2009 9:45 PM
@15....
Look at you working so hard to explain why nobody cares about First... when in reality nobody cares that you don't care about First. At least I don't.
TWENTY-FOURTH!!!!!
