Jan 24 2009Commercial: Hey Kids, Wicked Eyebrows!
This is a Cadbury chocolate commercial featuring two kids with crazy freaking eyebrows. Allegedly the eyebrowery is all real. Is there a gene for that? And, if so, can you clone my childhood dog, I miss her. I'll tell you one thing though, I want to have talented kids like that. The little tykes will make me a small fortune in the freak show. Or I'll sell them to gypsies.
Thanks to Ranney, who once sold an eyebrow on eBay with free shipping and almost made enough to cover postage.

Saying it looks real doesn't make it any more interesting or true.
7. Hunter - January 24, 2009 7:45 PM
and this sells chocolate... how?
8. Dark Rowan - January 24, 2009 7:51 PM
@7 just like Head On, the product will be stuck in a persons subconscious for quite a while due to the commercial. A better example is how babies talking about stock portfolios sells eTrade. No connection, really, but keeps in on the brain.

Okay, that little girl was just creepy.
Imagine the poor guy in about 10 years that she's giving a blow job to, looking down and seeing THAT!
10. Skar - January 24, 2009 9:10 PM
@9, maybe she could put her moving eyebrows to good use. gives new meaning to butterfly!

I can't believe that this is real. That was way to freaky.
14. ;dskjf - January 24, 2009 11:07 PM
I can do that ... and it's never gotten me any coin. Just weirded out stares.
15. Neptune - January 25, 2009 12:18 AM
I can do it too, 14! I love doing it in the car to the music that's on. I do it until the person driving notices and laughs, haha. This is easily real.
16. Thumperchica - January 25, 2009 12:25 AM
That was f***ing great. Creepy, but great!
17. Boost - January 25, 2009 2:04 AM
This Best Buy chick seriously looks like a donkey.
She's a donkey face that deserves a donkey punch.
That was mean, I'm sorry everyone.
*donkey punches*

I don't usually do this, but I call shenanigans. Look in particular at about 0:18-0:20, and you can see how the shadows over the eyes move funny. (There's a few other bits too, and you can usually see it good right over the eyes or up on the foreheads.) They basically used the video equivalent of the "Liquefy" tool.
Now, I believe that some people can do this, I just don't think THIS one is real at all.
19. Spam Artist - January 25, 2009 3:19 AM
FAKE!!!!
This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Tender Dracula where Dracula crashes his carriage into the side of a bridge and wakes up in the hospital with the power to see the future.
His resurrected man servant wakes up in the next bed with the power to twitch his eyebrows. An exorcist is summoned.
20. courtney - January 25, 2009 3:26 AM
This guy couldn't do that with his eyebrows so he just cut one of them off:

This is exactly like that scene in the movie NEver Back Down where Max is at a college frat party wearing a bedsheet toga, and some asshat is playing a gay folk song on the guitar. As Max walks past him, he smashes the guitar gives the splintered remains back and says "Sorry"

23. David - January 25, 2009 6:13 AM
And what the hell has this got to do with damn chocolate? ... Stupid crap waste of time advert.
24. Mike - January 25, 2009 8:04 AM
Real! - I can do it with both eye brows!, I'd highly expect that the video was sped up for them to be doing it at that speed but its definately possible. I'd like to see the audition tapes for the advert - 'No we can't take her, she can't do the eyebrow thing' etc.
25. CENSORED - January 25, 2009 8:55 AM
I'm beeing censored, that's why I'm writing under a new name, still from same IP though, I hope this works. I used to write under the name licious-soft backwards. I thought we were free to say what ever we wanted in this site, but apparently not. This sucks, and GW was the one who said "hooker in a woodchipper" once, my language is not any more powerfull than his.
26. CENSORED - January 25, 2009 9:01 AM
Wow, It worked, no more censor because I'm using a new name now. Too bad you wont see my great joke about the love ring, I didn't save it anywhere and it wasn't offensive, just very comical, but I didn't save it, and I wont be able to do it again, because humor is spontaneous. So whether you get to see my joke about the love ring or not, that is up to GW. I'm still pi-ssed that GW censored licious-soft (backwards).
27. Bodhemon - January 25, 2009 9:23 AM
These children are clearly robots far advanced of what we're capable of producing at this point in time. The question is... where'd they come from?
28. softlicious - January 25, 2009 10:53 AM
OK!
So the geekologie writer told me I can't count to three. Apparently the maximum 3 url you can include in your comments is 3, AND this includes the "Your site's URL", either this or I really can't count to three :(
29. Houmand - January 25, 2009 11:20 AM
I can do that, but I think it's sped up, they move a bit too fast at some points, but I know a bunch of people who can do it too.
30. SpamDaisy - January 25, 2009 12:08 PM
Fake! This is a complete blow job.
You can tell because the speed is all wrong. Only Bruce Lee can move that fast.
This is just like that scene in Enter The Dragon when there weren't enough women for the black guy's immeasurable appetite and he had to go bisexual. Only hetero Asian gangs got hired for extras so he got into a fight with them to lose some aggression.

double dragon is badass

The UK tends to frown on marketing confectionery at kids, so there are hardly adverts for candy/sweets that show a people enjoying eating it.

As amazingly fake as the video is, does anybody know what the song is?
35. formerly SPELLINGNAZI© - January 25, 2009 5:41 PM
To those who think it's sped up: Check the way the girl's hair moves. I thought the same thing but if you check the way her mair is moving, you can definitely see it's real-time.

Ha ha, they hid the electrodes with makeup.
38. softlicious - January 26, 2009 6:42 AM
You're all wrong about this. This is NOT a commercial for chocolate, it's a commercial for protection:
http://www.smarter.com/condoms-contraceptives/pl--ch-39--ca-523.html
I know f***ing your uncle is fun, and frankly it's non of my business, but think about the possible consequencies will you. You could end up with Frankensteins Freak Monster-kids!
"Trojan Very Sensitive Lubricated Latex Condoms - 12 ea" could have prevented this tragedy for only $4.89!
39. thatgengirl - January 26, 2009 3:17 PM
You know softlicious, you might not have been censored for being "extreme." In fact, I think you might have been censored for being a f***ing tool and never having anything even remotely funny to say... but that's just my opinion.
40. wrath114 - January 27, 2009 10:53 PM
