Dec 6 2008Yes Please: An A-10 Warthog Motorcycle
The A-10 Thunderbolt II (aka Warthog) is a plane that never fails to make me swoon. I don't know if it's the styling or the 30mm Gatling gun in it's mouth, but my god does that plane do something to me. And now the guys over at ICON Motorsports have gone and made an A-10 inspired motorcycle. Complete with 800-watt sound system, 8-inch LCD screen and minigun, the bike is clearly ready for combat. And by combat I obviously mean me in my "If you can read this, my bitch fell off" t-shirt.

Officer does his walkaround; Lets see. No tail lights, no blinkers, no reflectors, no headlamps. Exhaust is not legal. TV screen up front, sorry no TV for you. And whoa, whats this up front??!!?!? I may have been thinking of Road Rash instead of real life when I made the last comment. I played those games so much it's an easy mistake to make. That minigun would come in handy for OAP drivers ahead of you (actually anyone over the age of 60 who still drives) but you'd still need a golf club or stick to cover the sides.

The shadows seem right, although I swear I've seen this before in full metal jacket..right after the jelly doughnut eating scene and before the ending..
the gun is FAKE..you can tell by the photo shopping and the shadows are all wrong..

It looks great, too bad that the front cannon is not a functional exhaust, it wouldn't be very efficient up there. The jet ones on the back turn too, they have turbine fins in that spin up from exhaust pulses. Its supposed to increase low end torque with back pressure but help suck exhaust out in a vortex at high rpm.

the turn signals and brake lights are under the tail and, the plate is right above the rear tire
so what if it's not road legal it has a tv and about 8 speakers what else do you need oh yeah, a mini gun.

This is an obvious photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max and Daisy have a Maple Syrup chugging contest.

The A10 has a 7-barrel Gatling gun. The bike's only has 6.

Hi everyone glad you like the bike, and for those that don't glad your talking about it nonetheless.
Just FYI the Peace sticker says "PEACE THROUGH SUPERIOR FIREPOWER"
The bike is completely for promotional and demo purposes, sorry you won't see it out cutting the highways or twisties...(wink)
The gun and pipes were provided by Tailgunner Exhaust.
And Photo shop it is not, I built it! See it on the Tailgunner site, the icon site, and upcoming issue of 2WT.
Also someone asked about the music, check the link to the video under our culture section at www.rideicon.com . The song name is Kill Konstintine.

Oh and Daisy, if you happen to be in or near SoCal in the very near future....you can go personally see the bike at Del Amo Motorsports in Redondo Beach. That is where I sent it for first display after I finished it.
Make sure you take your picture with it and then you can photoshop some verbage in the shot.......I got OWNED!?
