Dec 3 2008Wicked!: Vincent Van Gogh Counter-strike Map
As a guy who's been playing Counter-strike since the fall of 1999, I've shot many of you poor bastards in the head time and time again. What can I say, I am the l337. So anyway, cartographer Nipper went and make a wicked Vincent Van Gogh inspired board in which all the textures were made using Van Gogh paintings. It looks pretty freaking awesome. Hit the jump for a video walkthrough of the map, which features many of the scenes from his most famous paintings. Seriously, it's worth a look. I mean, Jesus, the dude cut his ear off and gave it to a whore. Now that's a present. Also, I embedded the video in high quality because I want to get in your pants.

This is an obvious photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadows are all wrong.
This is almost identical to the scene in Never Back Down where Baja replaces the cocaine in Maxs' star wars puppets with pure LSD liquigels & serves them to him at an afternoon picinic right before letting him eat bacon flavored ice cream from her chest. Max later trips balls & makes a scheduled appearence on the wheel of fortune where he gets naked, punches Vanna, destroys all the prizes except for the rubber duckie/pirate map display - then escapes the building in a cardboard box & hides out at Del Taco. He described the whole experience by saying he felt like he was playing counterstrike in a van gogh painting.

Questions;
Does that music play or was that just imbedded in the video?
Do you actually fight anyone in there, or just walk around with your rifle pointed out while checking out the artwork?
Do the shadows look ok?
Are they photoshopped?
Does this remind any retarded people about some lame ass movie with a chick named after the lower peninsula of Mexico?

This is an obvious photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because pictures are pixel mapped to the objects.
It reminds me of the.....wow look at all of the colors(ya im canadian I hate the U in color). Um where was I. Oh ya another hit of.....mmmm the colors. Ya that movie,,,what was it....uh,,,,,shit......DAISY help!!!!! I cant remember what I was saying

and as a lover of counter-strike and a dude who enjoys art i couldn't imagine playing a match on it because of how big the map is... but it sure does look awesome!

It's ironic how Van Gogh actually mutilated his left ear in order to capture himself vividly on his self-portrait. Dude was a freak. That map is also freaky as shit. Imagine actually shooting players in that map. Blood gashing and heavy bloodbath on Van Gohg's painting, now that is killing Van Gohg-style.
