Dec 1 2008The Race Is On: To A Camera In Your Eye
Remember the story a few weeks ago of the artist woman that wanted a webcam installed in her eyeball? Well it turns out she may have been beat to the chase (and subsequent fall and eye gouging) by Steve Mann, who is *this close* to having the procedure done. Check out the Eyeborg blog for more info on Steve's quest to become part machine (and thus, a mortal enemy). There's even a really gross video of Steve getting his (already damaged) eye removed. Awesome! And by awesome I mean I just threw up cereal all over the keyboard! Cool! Not really! But kind of! Okay I'm mostly just grossed out! Can you tell the period key is stuck?
Thanks to Arni, who had a camera installed in his ear but broke it with a Q-tip.

Reminds me of the Woman in Doomsday, she had a camera eye that sent video feeds to her watch.

This is an obvious photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadows are all wrong.
This is just like the ending in the movie Never Back Down where Max reveals that he's recorded his sexual experiences with a opticam he'd gotten from Pat Sajak in exchange for some cocaine laced star wars puppets & podcasts these videos regularly on the internet. Unfortunately for him, he didn't realize that anyone could see anything he did anytime on justin.tv & there were multiple videos of him eating bacon flavored ice cream at the local Del Taco and conversations with his father about how he was into pirate maps, rubber duckies & black women.

It's just kinda wrong. Like that old Steve Austin Bionic Man action figure where you look through the hole in the back of his head and everything looks farther away. I was confused and disturbed at the same time. Then I started cutting myself and listening to Bauhaus... Oh wait, that was my ex-girlfriend, goth chicks are hawt!!!

This "Bacon flavored ice cream/Del Taco" fake Daisy is 100x more annoying than the real one...at least the real Daisy has some original thoughts (fake and photoshop aside).

This is obviously an image altered with the aid of an image editing program on a home computation machine.
This remind me of the time at the polo match when charles prodded at worthington's eye and accidentally removed it. Afterwards, Worthington swore vengeance, claiming that autonomous machines would one day claim the lives of us all, and that he would join their side in exchange for his favorite hunting rifle, and that they would 'assimilate' us all.
