Nov 20 2008Cooking With Wookiee: Star Wars Cookbooks

You ever spent time in the kitchen making confectionery love to a Wookiee? Ha, me neither then. But now you can whip up Star Wars-y dishes (sans Wook hair) in no time thanks to this two cookbook set.
Each volume is loaded with different types of inter-galactic recipes: drinks, breakfasts, main courses, desserts, and more. Volume 2 adds some great new culinary concoctions, such as Boss Nass Broccoli, Opee's Sea Crunch, and Darth Double Dogs (doubling as a light saber you can eat!) Age is no issue when it comes to Star Wars cuisine - kids as well as adults will have a great time with these books. Whether you drove to your first Star Wars flick or just had your fifth birthday, there's no reason you can't whip up some Crazy Cantina Chili at near light speed.
The books are available as a set from Thinkgeek and will set you back 15 space bones apiece. Unfortunately, I'm passing because there were no Ewok recipes. You don't cook those furry little f***ers just right and they'll taste all gamey.

Thanks to Pedro, a Brazilian reader who doesn't know it yet but is gonna let me crash at his place when I come to Brazil. Isn't that right Pedro?

This is an obvious photoshop job. You can tell its fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is just like a scene from the movie Never Back Down, where Max raid Baja's parents porn mag collection & finds naked pictures of Baja eating bacon flavored ice cream in a Star Wars cookbook that was stolen from Pat Sajak after meeting him in a chatroom to buy acid for a possible taping on his show.

Ah, McGroin. So nice to have you back in our humble fold. Now then, would you kindly wipe the feces from your feet before entering the room. Thanks very. And, please do fetch us some tea wouldn't you chap.
It's so nice to have help these days. As much as he is boorish, he is helpful.

I have the first book, got it at Urban Outfitters over a year ago but still haven't tried any of the recipes lol! i just love the name "Super Chewy Wookiee Cookies" lol! I've been meaning to make my boyfriend a whole Star Wars dinner out of these recipes but want to get little figurines to stick with all the food like in all the photographs in the book. so funny.

@16 - The black man has it hard, and whitey is always keepin him down. Its no cooncidence that the shortest month of the year is black history month. This year its even worst because they are shutting off analog TV in February. Who gets their TV from an antenna, poor people in cities - who are mostly black folks.
Way to ruin the month white man.
But since we will have a black president, he will get the blame.
Its a genius plan.
