Oct 7 2008Wait, What?: A Smart Car Monster Truck
Somebody modded a Smart Car into a monster truck because, well, that's what people do. You come up with a really bad idea after a long night of drinking, and the next day you make your inebriated dream a reality. Trust me, it's the human condition.
Thanks to Tim, who has drawn up plans for a Big Wheels monster truck.

Some guys at a local company where I used to live made a mini monster out of an original Austin Mini. Was freakin, sweet but still only about 2ft tall.

wow, thats even more unstable than a normal monster truck. At least those don't look like they are about to turn over on every turn they make.
Cool idea., but do you know what would have made it even better? Crushing other cars. Thats what monster truckin' is about right? Where else will you see a smart car drive over and flatten an old Ford F-150, or Chevy Silverado?

Fake!
That's a complete fake. It looks like it was made with photoshop or something. They were probably trying to re-enact the monster truck scene from Never Back Down.

what i love is that they demo'd the truck on a course that a stock smart car could do. obviously they were as worried about it flipping on anything more 3% grade as we were.

Ash, I know what they look like, there's one in our BMW showroom... The only thing you could do to the Erkle-mobile is make it hover... that, that would be cool. Other than that, leave the sexy Bavarian Motors Works design alone, please? WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!?

@22 It says Attart. A greek gy specializing in off road conversions.
@24 It's actually tall as hell!
FYI:
This is a Mercedes Unimog truck (pretty badass if you ask me), which has a Smart Car fitted on top instead of its regular cab.
I luv.
