Guys the whole controversy started because of a small faction of people, and to not offend anyone Sony delayed the game until the 27th of this month in fact some Muslims are speaking out against the group because of the delay.

The controversial parts of the song are:

1. "kol nafsen tha2qa al maowt" : which means every soul shall experience death"
2. "kol man alayha fan" which mean all that is on earth will perish

And the worst thing is some wal-mart and target stores didn't hear about the recall and are still selling the game as is, but the game is soon to be patched so it doesn't offend anyone who plays it.

Yes there are horrible acts carries out in the name of Islam, just as there are horrible acts carried out in the name of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism or even secularism. Remember the Oklahoma City bomb - Christian; the David Koresh Waco crazies - Christian.

Many moderate Musilms within the Islamic countries that carry out the heinous acts really do speak out against the practices, but there are several other factors that preclude them from really coming out in force. So before you make inflammatory sweeping generalizations, try relying on information that isn't conjecture or horribly biased.

People seem to forget that the Crusades were a *defensive* war from the Christian perspective. The Moors and Saracens had been converting people to Islam at sword-tip and proceeded to take Jerusalem by force. In our mea culpa revision of history we seem to forget little details like that.
