Oct 17 2008Cosplay Friday!: Street Fighter's Chun Li
Ah, cosplay. I love it. And furplay, that's cool too. I think. So anyway, Francesca Dani is trying to give Jenni Källberg (aka the love of my life) a run for her cosplay money. And here she is as Chun-Li from Street Fighter. Looking good! Oh man, this reminds me -- remember when Street Fighter II came out for home consoles and you could do Chun Li's Spinning Bird Kick (the one where she spins around upside down like a helicopter) and pause the game to see her underwear? Yeah, I never did that either.

1. improper footwear.
2. chun-li's outfit is NOT supposed to be vynil.
3. the hair is wrong.
4. her eyes are the wrong color. (she should be wearing dark contacts)
otherwise it's an ok cosplay. the hair covers are cool and she could use strategic eye makeup to make herself look more asian, and i think those bracelets are awesome work. and the front is wrong, but the pattern is very very well done (whoever did it, i know nothing of her costume stuff so whatever)

Don't like cloth pvc and plastic materials in general (sorry guys vinyl its less shiny and looks more like cloth than pvc). There are other plastic clothes that don't look like trash bag. But I think Francesca is a GREAT cosplayer and she and her team work hard with the costumes and photos quality.
I still think this material could look awesome when it's used as decoration in details, but not in a full dress. I've seen it used like that and it's great looking.
