Sep 10 2008Wicked Cool Post-It Note Movie
This is a video made by Eepybird (the guys that do the Diet Coke and Mentos geysers) entitled 'The Sticky Note Experiments'. It was made using 280,951 Post-Its stuck together to form Slinkies (that's over a quarter million for those of you that like your numbers in fractions and words). It was very well done. I just wish I could have embedded a larger version of it. And invested in 3M stock.

ehhh some parts were cool but im not that impressed. just looked like a bunch of streamers everywhere, and slinkies do the same thing. way to waste paper and feature a failed tila tequila look alike.

How was that a waste of paper? I would think all those post-its are still perfectly usable once they are done the slinky thing. Except for the small handfull that they wrote on.

The neon colors ALMOST gave me an epileptic stroke, but I'm ok. That was pretty cool with all the colors and yeah I'm sure they could reuse them. Besides looking like pedophiles, those guys did a good job.

yeah, uh...wow. these are the type of post-its that go into a dispenser so they already come stuck together like that. I mean, it's not that hard to take more then one stack and stick them together. we use them in the office as slinkies all the time! but in all seriousness, if you want a slinky post-it stack, go freakin buy them at office depot

UM THAT WAS REALLY FUN. Although, I tried it just now at my house and it didnt work with two stacks of post it notes, maybe they had some specially made by the government

That was actually pretty amazing. I mean, it was really simple, but the way they did it would be hard to recreate.
