Sep 9 2008Drawing On Wheels: The Sharpie Lamborghini

We've seen all kinds of exotic cars here on Geekologie. We've seen a golden Porche, Burberry barfwagon, a wooden supercar, chrome Lamborghini, DIY Lamborghini, a knit Ferrari, and even a Maserati covered in broken glass. And now, for your viewing pleasure, a Sharpie Lamborghini. It's been around for about a year so you may have seen it already. And if so, I applaud your internetellect. You can buy me a drink at Boozefest 2008 (more details to come). Anyway, this is a Lamborghini covered in Sharpie drawings. The car was penned by Prestige Lamborghini of Miami and took two weeks to create and cover with a clear coat. So what do you think? Like it? Love it? Want to drive it off a cliff? I kind of like it, and, as a guy who's no stranger to waking up with a giant Sharpied penis on his face, I need new friends.

Hahaha i was thinking the exact same thing. I mean really... this looks like something the retards from pimp my ride would come up with.
Pimp: Yo man, we know how you said you like graffiti and gold chains so... heres your ride.
Douchebag: NO WAYYYY!!!!! *Tear*
Pimp: Yo, we also hooked you up with a special compartment on the roof that puts 1-5 pounds of hair gel on with the press of a button.
Douchebag: NO WAY MAN OH MY GOD!!! Wait...
Pimp: YO!! BEFORE YOU EVEN ASK!!! HELL YEAH YOU GOT A MIRROR!
Douchebag: NO WAY!!!!! OHGOIASHOG!!!!!!
Pimp: And we got you that new Plasma Screen For the dash! We went ahead and put 40 hours of telemundo into the tivo for you!!!!
Douchebag: NO WA... Wait... wat?

14. Thumperchica - September 9, 2008 11:31 AM

Pretty damn sweet!
24. NVG - September 9, 2008 12:32 PM
Strange, but I like it. Cool in a different way.
Definitely looks better than the Burberry Maserati and the Gold-ish Porsche.
All it needs now is a Maori driver.
25. bernard fleming - September 9, 2008 12:43 PM
@20 - Whats your problem, too lazy to do it yourself?
@2 - You are a colossal wanker, all firsty firstenstein n stuff, and then pwned by a girl. Why not leave the firsts to the professionals.
26. OctoGooch - September 9, 2008 12:49 PM
very cool. the car is actually less gaudy with the art.
27. Amaranth - September 9, 2008 12:57 PM
too much money and time, what a way to ruin a car
28. friendlystoner - September 9, 2008 1:11 PM
i cant believe people like this. it looks like some shit snooty designer chucked up all over it. what a load of shit. the owner should have spent the extra money on a getting a MurciƩlago instead of the wanna be rich persons Gallardo
29. Sgt. C. Foxtrot - September 9, 2008 1:20 PM
@28. LOL at elitist bullshit.
30. dr.jayfer - September 9, 2008 1:36 PM
I have to say that they did an amazing job with the artwork making it flow with some pretty tough lines on that lambo let alone the fact that it took 2 weeks just to draw it on there considering the tip on you average sharpie is about 3-5 mm wide and that is a shit load of coverage.
31. steve - September 9, 2008 1:42 PM
I think it's pretty cool, minus the sharpie on the windows...
32. The Guy - September 9, 2008 2:13 PM
@ #19
Lol so your telling me that theres 1 mexican channel, and that the "Guidos" dont watch it? Sure lol. I guess they dont have 15 cars on their front lawn either cause thats already taken. Haha look... Mexicans Smell greasy / Guidos are greasy...Thats not just me talking, thats science. Sorry i dont try to hard to distinguish. Alls i know is this guys last name is probably balboa/ricardo.
33. Momboelitist - September 9, 2008 2:15 PM
If I spent a QMD on a lambo and some dude tried to touch it with a sharpie, I'd shove it up his ass!
At least they could have used some circle templates or a french curve so it doesn't look like my 5 yr old did it.
Final tip: Sharpie also makes a fine tip marker.
34. Amy - September 9, 2008 2:50 PM
DO WANT! Do want do want do want!
...Oh, and Firsty failed again.
35. PeterD - September 9, 2008 3:04 PM
I actually like it, but I wish they'd left the windows alone, that just looks odd. The whole tribal tattoo look is surprisingly good overall though. If someone wanted to give it to me, I wouldn't say no :)
36. Firsty is a cunty - September 9, 2008 3:09 PM

39. Trevor - September 9, 2008 3:20 PM
I like it, its creative in a world where people buy creativity. props for taking that much time, but i would of gone with paint, sharpie smudges.
40. Stiles - September 9, 2008 3:25 PM
It's so far beyond tacky, it's actually cool. Awesome artwork.
41. Icon - September 9, 2008 6:15 PM
@39
Had you read the article, it says they clear coated over it.
42. Anya - September 9, 2008 8:44 PM
I'm impressed. The design is nice and goes along with the body.
I admire that it is hand drawn/painted, and doesn't go for the usual perfect graphics. That instead the artist's natural mark makes for a finer look. The windows do look odd. But they give off a contrast with white on black, the body being black on white, as well as those added grays/silver dots. It is a sexy car..
but...
I'd rather like it than love it.. as far as the Geekologie writer's links are concerned. ~Notice all the car/auto updates. Car hugger :P

What the fuck is wrong with you people??? This car is fucking hideous!!!!! It boggles the mind that so many of you could have such piss poor taste. Truly boggles the mind.
48. The Guy - September 10, 2008 1:28 PM
@ #44
What in the hell are you talking about? So doing something "original" to your car automatically makes it cool eh?
Yeah so i was thinkin about going to the local car lot and pickin up a ford escort. Then just to be "original" imma murder a bunch of neighborhood pets, then paint it with their blood. Itll sure be 1 if a kind. At first everyone will be like "OMG WHO KILLED ALL THE PETS!!?!" Then ill be like "I DID!" then theyll be like "WTF MAN??!?! Then ill just step aside and they take a look at my blood red car and their jaws drop. Hell, they will probly be linin up to give me more shit to kill so i can paint random shit in the neighborhood. Your right. Original = Awesome... Always.
49. Gingersnapz - September 11, 2008 4:36 PM

52. Believer - September 14, 2008 5:17 PM
@47 - Sorry if it doesn't live up to your standards, Monet. I'm sure your opinion is that important that humanity will do what they can to keep something like from ever happening again.
@48 - Dumb statement is dumb
The blood of dead animals is red, and there are already red cars, so it wouldn't be that amazing. This is cool because it's made in sharpies, yes, but also because it's got an eyeball-raping design.
53. k - September 15, 2008 6:00 PM
i love #43.
54. k - September 15, 2008 6:02 PM
oh and
The Guy..?
no.
55. miss spliff - September 17, 2008 12:39 PM
The owner is the largest Lamborghini dealer in the world - prestigeimports.com. They put a clear coat on before they sharpied it and then coated it again - so it won't rub off. So he can afford to do this type of thing - and I think it is brilliant. Wait till you see this thing in person.
56. cole - September 17, 2008 11:48 PM
I actually like that. Maybe not on a car, though
57. assbastard - October 3, 2008 10:44 AM
