Aug 6 2008Guy Builds Himself Batman's Tumbler

tumbler-1.jpg

Bob Dullam went and built himself Batman's Tumbler using nothing but photos of the vehicle and the actual movies. It cost somewhere between $50,000-$70,000 to complete and was built entirely by himself. It looks freaking wicked. Good looking, Bob. Next, he plans to construct a Batpod. And, after that, I'm hoping he'll build me a deck.

Hit the jump for several more pictures.

Holy Giant Boner Batman!

that looks sweet

wtf is up with the suit's crotch

If that thing actually drives, best 70k investment ever?

I'm in love with that man. I'm so tricking out my 10 speed bike into a Bat-Pod now.

MAN CRUSH!!!!!! Right here baby!

Yeah whats up with the batsuits cod piece? I'm thinking someones got a big ol dong.

Awesome, I wish I had them skills, make my car not a piece of $h!t

I want one.

Ooooh...nice! I wish I had that much time on my hands...and that much motivation....and the skill...and the money...shit! I don't have much going for me

Liking the Junk space he left in the batsuit. Hot!

na na na na nananana BATDONG!
i wonder if this guy will get offered a job by some crazy engineering company or something. and i wonder if he'll let me wash his car wearing just the lower half of that dongsuit? please mr angry bald dude with an inventors' goatee and bare feet?

I think it's safe to assume that whoever builds a tumbler like that in their spare time completely solo must have huge balls. Ergo, extra space for junk needed in Bat Suit...

I admire people who have this sort of determination and follow-through. I can barely muster the strength to finish this comment.

@Jac

I admire the people wo have $50-70,000 to play with.

Two words:

blunt

ride

too much free time.. and money.. and batman adicction..

Im looking forward it has all the capabilities shown in the movies too!

I must say, this vehicle looks awesome. I wonder how it would do next to the real tumbler? Great work!

OMG I want one!!!

Danget i was going to make one but na since he made one i think ill just make a limosuine or something like a gyroplane

$70,000 and the sum bitch doesnt even wear shoes

Don't ever buy shoes = Instant 70k to build your own tumbler!!!

This is why I love Geekologie. This guy has probably been working on it since Batman Begins, and just now finished it. I bet he could pay for it if he charged people to sit in it. I'd pay something like $20 to $50, especially if I got a picture.
Also, is it just me or have all the batmobiles between Tim Burton's Batman films and Batman Begins sucked?

pssshhh, it's just a civic with a batman body kit

Bruce Wayne's gotta pay attention to the numbers. He totally got ripped off by his R&D department. Some angry bald dude who can't afford shoes can build one for relative chump change in his garage -- Wayne prolly spent millions and broke the damn thing chasing a clown.

would love to crush through a crowd of montauk monsters in that there thing......

Does it drive? And Jump and shit, oh and will it talk to you in a chicks voice when its going to explode? That would be hot.

Very Cool, more pics www.pepimp.com

That man, he must be Batman.

uhhhhmmm.... 70 grand. why? was there nothing else to do?
hopefully the 15 minutes of fame and attention makes up for all the wasted time and deniro.

Real tumbler... You do know that was a film, right?

What kinda motor is in that thing? That's cool as hell!
