Aug 6 2008Guy Builds Himself Batman's Tumbler

Bob Dullam went and built himself Batman's Tumbler using nothing but photos of the vehicle and the actual movies. It cost somewhere between $50,000-$70,000 to complete and was built entirely by himself. It looks freaking wicked. Good looking, Bob. Next, he plans to construct a Batpod. And, after that, I'm hoping he'll build me a deck.

I think it's safe to assume that whoever builds a tumbler like that in their spare time completely solo must have huge balls. Ergo, extra space for junk needed in Bat Suit...

I admire people who have this sort of determination and follow-through. I can barely muster the strength to finish this comment.

This is why I love Geekologie. This guy has probably been working on it since Batman Begins, and just now finished it. I bet he could pay for it if he charged people to sit in it. I'd pay something like $20 to $50, especially if I got a picture.
Also, is it just me or have all the batmobiles between Tim Burton's Batman films and Batman Begins sucked?

pssshhh, it's just a civic with a batman body kit

Bruce Wayne's gotta pay attention to the numbers. He totally got ripped off by his R&D department. Some angry bald dude who can't afford shoes can build one for relative chump change in his garage -- Wayne prolly spent millions and broke the damn thing chasing a clown.
