Jul 21 2008World's Longest Homemade Waterslide?
Cutting the grass, drinking beer, and watching chicks run by the house in short shorts while I yell "PEW PEW PEW!" from my bedroom window -- it's what summertime is all about. Oh, and waterslides! This is a 100-yard waterslide (allegedly the world's largest homemade slide but I feel like I've seen another video somewhere of a super-duper slide that was even longer and had banked turns and stuff) that ends in a lake. Ah, summer watersports, gotta love 'em. But not the kind you perform in the shower and then have to break up with your girlfriend because you can't look at her in the same way again. Not that kind.

Thanks Julian, now let's build one twice as long and invite twice as many chicks than the guys in this video did.

Oh man! now that is what i call summer fun! That jump in the middle looks COOL! That has to be at least 100 yards long.
I want one!

That last one looked like it would hurt... Basically, he just bellyflopped onto dry land... ok, wet land, but still.

I was hoping to see one of them go off the side and into the trees. oh well

We've all been there with the post-watersport relationship. It's surprisingly dry and corrosive. anyways. the that slide is pretty damn awesome. though it could have done a fewer frat boys and more naked chicks these guys deserve to be thrown down that slide while its dry for not having enough chicks there.

Was I the only one who thought the guy's laugh at the end was weirdly disturbing?

I thought this was a great waterslide video too, not a giant one. But lots of alcohol is surely still involved. These folks make up for their lack of hills with some good ol horsepower.

I would only go down that if I had enough jagerbombs to override my fear of heights...and water...and breaking my tailbone.
I have a lot of fears I need to work through apparently.

Here's what I think you are thinking of Mr. Geekologie. Not sure how long it actually is, but it is, in my opinion, exponentially more bad ass than the lake side straight shot. (Plus it transforms to be bad ass in multiple ways.) Yeah, transforms.

A water slide that long needs a chairlift or something. Too much work climbing that hill with too much beer for 2.3 seconds of adrenaline. There isn't even a cool jump at the end.

there is a bigger and better waterslide. Travis Pastrana made it at his house. It's on one of his dvds.......google it

Totally not worth that walk back up the hill. Plus it seems to peter-out at the end... I was waiting for one of them to pickup enough speed to slam into that dock, and, well frankly, I was expecting decapitation.
