Jul 1 2008Plush Microbes Don't Make VD's Less Scary

After posting yesterday's Plush Particles I got several tips asking to post the microbe versions, so here they are. They've been around for a while so you may have seen them already, and if so let me know before I sleep with you because I don't want to catch any of them. Each of the microbes comes in a 5"-7" option for $8, or you can get a "petri dish" of three mini-ones for $13. There are a ton of different microbes available, not just VD's, and I posted a few more after the jump, along with a link to them all. Oh, and despite it's cute, sunflowery form, you still don't want herpes. Trust my ex-girlfriend.
Hit the jump for more.

Thanks Ben and Amy, now remember: it's all fun and games until it burns when you pee.

Again, how do they make them look so realistic?
6. v - July 1, 2008 2:55 PM
@2: Clap is gonorrhea. 3 is right.
I want some of those plush toys.

#3's right, gonorrhea is the clap.
I know I told this one before, but some may have not seen it:
What's worse than having yoru doctor tell you you have VD?
Having your dentist tell you.

Do these work as voodoo dolls? Could be a simple way to "cure" your "issues"... :)

Hey Geek writer, I heard you gave these to your girlfriend. Or rather, did she give them to you? Oh yeah, I went there! Ta-dow, how you like me now?!
Okay, that last part was lame.

If they make a syphillis plush, it should have a removal nose, oozing sores, and a green sludge in the head that represents the brain...
The pox, bad breath, and flesh eating plushies are rather cute though.

I've gotta get some of these for the pudwife... I mean, she's already got most of the real viruses from being passed around like a blunt in a low rider full of mexicans, but the plush ones... she needs those.

What' s with all these crazy plushies? First subatomic particles, and now diseases! What's next? Roadsign plushies? Constellation Plushies?!? BLOG PLUSHIES ?!?!!!?!?%**)!!!?

I gave gonorrhea to my girlfriend for christmas. These plushies are perfect for gag gifts. Also the coiled pox(syphillis) plushie fits perfectly around the neck of a bottle of wine making a great combo gift.

Maybe these would be a good way to break the news gently to that special someone that you accidentally gave them something else. Something a lot less cute, and with pee-affecting consequences.
Crazy - who knew the flesh-eating virus had microscopic a little knife and fork on it? What're the odds?
16. Lem - July 1, 2008 8:09 PM
I'd be up for some roadsign plushies.

@13 and 16: Got any more plush toy ideas? I have a sewing machine and some clean, but flat pillows I can use as stuffing. Or something. I do love sewing. By hand. For hours on end. I'd just need to buy fabric, but saying as how a few stores have some good sales, that's not much of a problem.
20. SmokingGirl - July 2, 2008 4:51 PM
i have all of these, though not a one is a plushie.

Aww, look at the flesh-eating microbe. Don't you just want to hug it and squeeze it?
