Jul 31 2008"Offbeat Attitude" Star Wars Figurines

This is a Star Wars KUSTOMZ, which "take characters and vehicles from the Star Wars universe and transforms them with an "offbeat attitude". That's the Camo Speeder Bike figure there, and there's a Red Baron TIE Fighter after the jump. They were just released at San Diego Comic Con last week and retail for $70. But they're limited edition so you better get on it. And also, the pill. I'm not ready for kids.
Hit the jump to see the Red Baron TIE Fighter.

Star Wars KUSTOMZ [plasticandplush]
Thanks to James C, who totally banged Princess Leia a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Or, okay, a month ago in a broom closet.

The speeder bike looks like he was inspired by the Ralph Bakshi film 'Wizards'.
16. djcorbijn - August 1, 2008 3:23 AM
Oh mah gawd! I am the biggest SW nerd and these things don't look realistic in any way. What the hell, I am so sick of how people are just twisting SW around just to make money. I mean, an imperial scout would never be on a speederbike that looked like that. And what is with joystick on the Baron's fighter, everyone knows he doesn't pilot it with a joystick?! WTF. The only good SW movie was The Empire Strikes Back. What's next, is George Lucas going to make a version of Bratz SW toys?! And why is the scout wearing GREEN gloves and driving Durge's speederbike? George will do anything for money. These things look worse than those terrible characters in the new clone wars movie!
Did that sound like a good rant from those Star Wars geeks who are never satisfied? I think they look somewhat cool.

*laughing at the kids who didn't read the entirety of #16's comment*
That's it guys, you tell him what a "dumb fuck" he is, what with his big words and his sarcasm.
22. Stuey - August 1, 2008 8:42 AM

Word for the day kids.

23. ted - August 1, 2008 9:17 AM

24. ted - August 1, 2008 9:25 AM

25. suzy blue balls - August 1, 2008 1:03 PM
i agree with the normal people in here who read posts thoroughly, give relevant responses, and have acceptable grammar. #16, good post. #18, tiny weiner.
26. Andrew - August 1, 2008 2:39 PM
@22 am i supposed to look it up or are u being sarcastic? =D
27. djcorbijn - August 2, 2008 7:57 PM
sar·casm /ˈsɑrkæzəm/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[sahr-kaz-uhm]
–noun 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony.
2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Origin: 1570–80; < LL sarcasmus < Gk sarkasmós, deriv. of sarkázein to rend (flesh), sneer; see sarco-]
—Synonyms 1. sardonicism, bitterness, ridicule. See irony1. 2. jeer.
*For the "dumb fucks"
I posted that because I am so sick of the morons who post their diatribes (yes that's a big word too). Thank you to everyone who actually got what I said. I think they look great and want to get them. They do remind me of something rat fink would do. Think of what could be done if artists like shag or coop could do some SW influenced stuff? The comment about Ralph Bakshi's Wizards is great, I haven't seen that movie in years and it does look like the soldier. I wish someone would make toys from that movie.
@Ginormag...whatever your yeti name is, the bigger the wheels, the smaller the nuts. It's "nob" but if you like doorknobs, to each his own.
@26 write down "want to see a funny joke, turn me over" on both sides of a small piece of paper, i'll bet you could be enthralled for hours.
28. BlightedArt - August 3, 2008 4:45 PM
^ Quiet time now... we get it.
On-topic: These figures look quite cool, especially the TIE fighter. :)

Nice, I like how they flipped it to give the timeless star wars design a retro hip/graffiti look to it
