Jun 12 2008XBox 360 Cake Looks Good Enough To Eat

xcake-1.jpg

It's been a little while since we've posted any sweets on Geekologie, so I figured it was about that time. This is an XBox 360 cake made by Heather Spencer, who is finishing her Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, possibly at some school near Grand Blanc, Michigan (I'm working from a Myspace profile here, folks). The cake looks good. Good enough to eat -- which you really could because it's a cake! I don't have much more info, except I'd hit it. You know, my girlfriend offered to make me a custom cake for my birthday and I said I loved the idea. She told me to choose something that I really like and she'd try her best to turn it into a cake. I thought and thought but finally just told her to go with her own design, something that really exemplified me as a person. So my birthday rolls around and HELLO giant asshole cake.

Hit the jump for closeups of the controller and box, as well as a link to her Myspace gallery with a bunch more delicious cakes.

First...!

I'll say it looks good. I don't know if I want to eat it or f*** it.

It honestly does look really good, especially the detail that was put into the controller and game. Not a big XBox 360 fan personally but I love me some cake!

I'd get confused and try to play games with the cake-controller.... and try eating the normal one. "Ugh! The frosting is all stale!" "Why is my controller melting?"

You know, I was going to be hostile to yet another cake post until I realized why I'm so hostile. I just don't like cake. I've never been a big cake person (which blows the theory that I'm fat because I eat cake constantly) and infact, I'm not a big sweets person as a whole.
So I will leave my hostility where it belongs...here, with me, while I drink coffee and chainsmoke. Cheers.

i believe you meant "Possibly", not possible.

smokingGirl is fat

That's nothing. My Mum made me a warship birthday cake for my seventh birthday. It rocked harder than Rock Hudson rolling a rock down Rockingham High Street.

I believe my nephew will love this for his birthday!

Thank you, Captain Obvious aka Tom Frost.

3rd picture down-- what is that piece of cake doing on the REAL xbox360

SmokingGirl is cute.
And hey, let's leave the rude remarks and personal attacks for THE SUPERFICIAL. Okay?
This is a place of love.
